Any tips for a first timer coming from CA?

My sister and I are doing a road trip hitting up 5 parks within a span of 7 days (Six Flags Great Adventure, Hershey Park, Holiday World, King Island and Cedar Point).

We'll be hitting the park on Wednesday June 2nd so we hope the crowd won't be bad and we'll be able to hit the best coasters multiple times.

My sisters have the plantium pass (Sadly I don't) so we'll be there for sure first thing in the morning before the park opens up. Here are my questions.

#1 Where should I park and what entrance should I use?

#2 Can we bring in our own snack and water ? (I believed I have read somewhere else that you can't)

#3 Do they make you put your backpack in lockers for the coasters like they do at six flags? (so annoying, guess they have to make thier money some way)

#4 Any good places to eat?

#5 Which coasters are best to hit in the morning vs the evening? (Do they have like a fass pass ticket?)

If you also have any advice for any of the other parks we'll be visiting please share! Any advice is greatly appreicated!

1,) Park in the Soak City lot near the back.
2.) I'm 99% you CAN'T, however you can keep in your car and come back and eat it there? Can't help much with that one, sorry.
3.) It depends...yes for some of the big rides.
4.) I personally like eating at TGI Fridays right outside of the park, near Castaway Bay.
5.) DO NOT go to Raptor early. It is at the front of the park and gets packed for the first few hours. I would suggest hitting Maverick first as it is the most popular ride, then Top Thrill and Magnum. Later in the day, as you progress to the front, hit Raptor and Millennium Force as they slow down after most guests come for the day.

Thanks Millie for the tips.

1) Park in the Soak City lot. Stay to the left hand side of the causeway and go to the far left tolls and tell the employee you are going to the soak city lot. They will put a paper under your wiper. And just follow Perimeter Road around the park and you'll end right in the lot.

2) Food/snacks are not allowed but I'm pretty sure each person is allowed one unopened regular sized water.

3)You will need to put your bags in a locker for Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force (locker located near their enterances) also if you plan on riding the water rides you will need a locker.

4) I also suggest Famous Daves BBQ located near the marina.

5) Park in the Soak City lot and go to either Maverick (right from the Resort Gate) or Top Thrill Dragster (left from the resort gate). Start your day near the back and work your way to the front. End your day with a great night ride on Magnum which is right next to the Soak City lot.

Like everyone else said, park in the Soak City lot. Hit Magnum first and make your way back through the back of the park. You'll be going through the park opposite the main crowds that come in through the main gate so you will avoid some lines that way. Rides like Millennium, Dragster, and Maverick tend to keep a steady line all day so there's nothing you can really do about that. As for dining inside the park, the biggest bang for you buck is at Panda Express, located at the beginning of the Frontier Trail near Millennium Force. You can get a plate with noodles and/or rice with two entrees for a little under $10. I can tell you it is a big plate of food. I always go through the park like I suggested to you and by the time I get to Panda it is around lunch time and that keeps me full for most of the day. I'll actually be at the park June 2 also. Let's keep our fingers crossed for good weather and short lines!

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
