any peanut characters or other live entertainment folks?

Been scouring the posts but haven't seen more than one or two people mention they're working in Live E.

Just curious! There's a facebook group for Live E specifically if anyone's interested in joining and getting to know their potential co-workers this season! :)

I'll be working as a dresser at the Ice Show for my second year. Dunno my process in date yet, but plan to stay through halloweekends working at the magic show again (hopefully!!!)

I auditioned back in December. Havent heard anything yet. Should be hearing soon. Sitting on pins and needles. Is it fun working in entertainment?

LOTS of fun! Best department, hands down.

Yep best department by far! (Though I am a bit biased) Don't worry about not getting a call yet, neither have I (Tech) though I have had an interview just waiting on specifics. As far as I know only the supervisor's and 1 other person have had final calls. Live E seems to be a pretty last minute hiring, comparatively at least.

Yea I should hopefully hear this week I just would have to waiting this long and not get it. Like I hope at least they would have emailed me sooner and say they aren't interested. I can only hope. Good luck hope u get ur call too!

I just got my call this week, Ice Show Stage Tech again (was same last year) so they are still calling people. :)

Okay well I guess all I can do is wait its just tough. I want it rele bad plus I drove 4 hours from baltimore to Pittsburgh to audition so I really hope it was for nothing. It makes me laugh when a big deal out of waiting a week to hear about an audition :)

It really is. I was an usher for Good Time and All Wheels last year and had the best time working in Live E.

I auditioned back in Jan. I had gotten a callback for the dance and was also given a measurement sheet to give to a guy who measured me for suits etc. I had noticed not everyone had received this sheet. I thought it was a good sign. But I was told we'd hear by March 1....which is tomm so right now I thinking on the negative side

I haven't heard either!!! It's driving me nutty because I really need to know my plan b if I dont get it. And I got a callback and felt really good about the audition. They did say they would let us know either way. I just hope it's a good thing because I auditioned for busch gardens as
Well and they let me know right away that they weren't considering me. I am going to wait it out through tommorrow and see. My friends and family urged me to call to make sure I didnt miss the call. This was about a week ago and they said if u don't hear by march 1 give them a call. So if calls arent made then I am going to call them. I hope this doesnt mean either of our auditions were forgettable. Keep me posted ruqratz if u hear anything

Well its the 1st and still no word. I saw the idea for the new light show and it looked pretty cool and like something I'd really enjoy...aside from the normal type of shows that Cedar Point has done. So I'm guessing I didn't get it. When I sung they ad me sing 3 songs. they had wanted to hear me sing a "bassy baritone" type song. I had thought my call back was good, and the fact they wanted to take take my measurements right after I sung I thought was a good sign. But I guess I should call??

The new luminosity show is not being cast by Cedar Point, it is being cast by RWS Associates (http://www.rwsandassociates.com/)they are doing auditions now for this show as well as others throughout the country.
If in doubt you can call the Live Entertainment office and ask what your status is. Just call the main switch board and say you want to be transferred to Live Entertainment.

I didnt want to seem like a bother. Since I had already called once.lol But I feel if I got it they would have called by now...especially since the lady said "you'll know by March 1" nd this was back at the Jan 2 audition

And how do you know about the new show? why is this show going to be casted by a different company??

I have been following the new show closely, and knew that it was being designed by RWS and Associates (They also did Rock Band Live a few years ago.) Noticed a few days ago on their Facebook page they said they were casting for Luminosity at Cedar Point. They are looking for 25 dancers, 3 drummers, 2 cirque performers, DJ, and singers. And since this was a late addition (though not as late as Starlight was!) I am pretty sure they have not filled everything up yet.

I am just a tech with Live E (I don't have anything to do with hiring, I don't even start till May 7th!) but I was in the office yesterday and everyone there is running around a bunch still getting things done, so don't count yourself out quite yet. Though with that said I know there are only a limited amount of spots so, Good Luck!

Don't worry about not hearing back yet. I am pretty sure they still contact you via mail to tell you that they passed on you. So either way, you will hear. They at times can still be casting up until April so just because you have not heard by the date given (the date they would LIKE to know by) does not mean you are out. That said, don't contact them. They don't like that. It can knock you off the list, welcome to the entertainment world;)

I haven't heard either! So ur not alone. I dont want to call either however, when I called about a week ago (without them knowing who I was) they said if I don't hear by march 1st to give them a call. I too don't want to be a bother but I auditioned back in december so im ready to move on if I dont get it or be prepared to move 8 hours away for the summer. I want it badly but it has really been difficult not knowing or being able to make plans

I had needed to know so I know whether or not to renew my lease. Because if I wouldn't be here I wouldn't want to...but if I am I should. But I guess I'll give until next week. In mean time I'll fund out about auditions for the RWS and Associates Luminosity show. I felt as though if they KNEW who they were not interested in that they'd least let those people know.

Especially since they've had 3 other auditions since then including the one on this past friday
