Any Other Possibilities?

The track with the copper fins on it is the brake track. It's fixed to the track, and can't be retracted...unlike the launch track that retracts the fins right before the launch, and then as soon as the train passes, they pop up in case of a roll back.

oops forgot the word breaks. anyway i could be wrong but i'm not going to fight you over it. But from the info i've gathered the launch is on the red side. But i guess we'll find out when the time comes.
Its NOT be on that side. That is the break run. Email me and i will try to prove it to you since jeff don't want those illegal pics on the site. Which i agree with totally.

CR for some reason I couldn't E-mail you feel free to E-mail me though.
Look at the picutres of Xcelerator. The launch side has 4 rail track with retractible(sp?) brakes and the brake run has 2 rail track with fixed brakes fins.

And that track you were talking about in the parking lot already has the "track" for the launch sled in the middle of it. Sorry but the launch will be on the red and white side.

Looking at it now, in better light, I agree. Launch on the midway side.
