Any Other Possibilities?

We seem to know what the layout of the ride will be, but do you think their could be any more surprises? I.e-and this is just a far fetched example- could there be a surprise on the trains, such as a 4d type design?

I won't be surprised if, come announcement time, we learn that there is an aspect to this ride we never considered.

Highly doubt it dude.

I don't think we will see anything that we never considered, but we may see some surprises in the amount of trains/length of trains/number of stations/etc.

I agree with Scanz. You never know what the announcement will tell. We may all be surprised!

"Twisted Sister" is the name of the new rollercoaster at Cedar Point for 2003. Just watch!

It's highly unlikely that we will see anything we haven't previously thought of.

...Denial is an ugly thing.

What about a tunnel during the break run to break up the monotony of it? Fog could shoot out of it like exhaust fumes.

How about enclosing the entire launch run up to about the midway point of the curve? You would come shooting out of the tunnel like a missle out of a silo. There could be a big burst of smoke just as the train exits. Call it "Tomahawk Run".
Odds are there will be a tunnel, that's Cedar Point and how they tend to theme things at there best!

Wicked Twister is a great ride! Just because it looks simple soesn't mean it sucks! I wouldn't mind having it in my back yard!

I doubt that there will be a tunnel on the launch side, because of the alternating colors on the track. They want us to get the sense of speed. (Unless they use black lights in it. That would be really cool.)
Cedar Point is an Amusement Park not a THEME park.

I think there is deffinatly something we haven't thought about. Perhaps there will be a surprise on the tower, because no one has been able to come up with a design that incorporates all of the pieces that lay in the parking lot. I was thinking perhaps that there might be something inside the station relating to sound. The right sounds played at the right volume would be a good way to freak you out and add a bit of suspense to and already suspeneful ride. By the way the red track is the launch side not the multi-colored red and white side.
Nope, sorry. That red track has brakes mounted on it. The ride is not going to launch through the brakes.

What pieces in the parking lot are you unable to figure out where they go? To my eye, all the track pieces are pretty much accounted for. Obviously, without a set of plans, no one can match pieces on site to parts on paper. But there are no pictures of track that imply anything other than launch, twist clockwise to go over tophat, twist clockwise on descent into exit curve, and then brake. What pieces have you seen that do not fit that scenario? Or do you just have a gut feeling?
Some people are saying it might go into a cobra roll! They need to look at the photos more carefully. The top piece of the top-hat is in the parking lot, so how can it also do a cobra roll at the top of the structure, not possible.

as of nov. 11th the brake track was still chilling in the soak city parking lot. That long line of of track that is up the has the brass colored fins on it is the launch. Those fins will have the propultion system put into them later. On the hand they also serve as brakes in case of a rollback. A few days ago someone on this forum asked "Why is the brake line so long?". The easiest explanation is that that is not the break run, because a set off breaks that look almost exactly like the ones on MF are still in the lot. Why would that be?
I'll put this simply: you're wrong! :)

Watch the launch of KBF's coaster. There are definately anti-roolback brakes that look similar to what is on the supposed brakerun. Is it impossible that the launch side is the side farthest from the walkway?

Sorry dude.. you're speculation is months out of date.

The brake run is soo long because this ride is going to be hitting 120 mph!!! I'm soo glad the break run is just as long as the launch track.

That is the station that they are building, in the fore-ground. It is directly lined up with the red/white side...Thats all the proof we need.

The launch is on the midway side. The long line of red track with the copper fins is the brake run. Period.
