any of the coasters at Cedar Point after "Final Destination 3" comes out in 2006. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0414982/ The main theme of the movie is teenages cheating death from a Roller Coaster ride.-then death comes back and tries to get them. I'm a huge fan of the 1st two movies and I'm sure I'll get a little scared riding TTD and MF next year-after seeing the movie.
Any of you going to feel the same way?
Though i loved the first two (especially the first) Final Destination movies, they do come off to be a bit cheesy. I don't think we'll be all that scared of riding, but some "gullable" people of the general public might take it a little too seriously.
I for one, hope they make it scarier than heck.
I guess they're using the coaster that used to be at Boblo Island called "Screamer", for any of you people who also live in the Metro Detroit area and have been there. Though they make it seem like 200 feet taller. I used to loooove that ride when i was little. Now it's gonna be on the big screen killing innocent people. How cute! :)
Here's the discussion from a few months ago over at Coasterbuzz.

Coaster Trav, you want capacity up, you want lines down.
And it's not taking place at Boblo, it's taking place at a small park in Canada, I believe near Vancouver. Actually, I believe they recently had an accident there.
2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator
The coaster got MOVED to Playland in Vancouver, B.C. like 10 years ago, track got painted red, and got renamed Corkscrew. But it indeed is Screamer that used to be at Boblo when it was an amusement park. Anyway, this doesn't have much to do with Cedar Point so i'll be quiet now. :)

I'm not going to watch it. I had a strange experience after watching the second one, lol. But if I did I doubt it would stop me from riding any coaster...except maybe that coaster.

Vince, don't rule out the ladder in his eye.
No really, what happened?

They finally posted the trailer for FINAL DESTINATION 3 is out now showing clips of the roller coaster accident. Looks freaky, tho would never happen in real life with the amount of heavy safety rules put on maintaince workers when checking the rides. However, like the previous Final Destination films, it does play on one of your worst fears... something going wrong on a coaster. Heres the link to the trailer below...

This does open a very hot discussion on the fact of... will this film have a serious impact on the Amusement Park industy?
