Any new news on the fate of Mr. Hydes nasty fall?

Is it staying or is it going? Anyone?

While I don't think it's been confirmed by the park, rumor has it is on its way out.

Your website is freaking awesome dude! I think you have me beat as far as picture taking at Cedar Point, although I have some good quality shots myself, but yours are the best.

Geez I hope Hydes is on it's way out I HATE that ride it is too painful and just plain not fun.

Mr. Hydes isnt' all that painful, well until you get to the bottom of the hill thats about it.

True but over the years (except under CF's supervision) that ride has not been the best taken care of and it shows expecially when you ride it.

At No Coaster Con on Saturday, Lexi stated that Mr. Hydes is currently being dismantled. She also said that it would likely be used for parts on Demon Drop in the even that it doesn't get sold before the begining of the season. Demon Drop is still for sale, but has not been sold and they are still maintaining that if it doesn't sell, it will be runing on Opening day.

That really was a rough old ride. I remember the last time we rode it the car after us had people stuck on it laying flat on their backs for quite some time.

Any where to get pics. of it being dismantled?

If I get a chance I will try to drive by, but I'm not sure how good of a shot I can get from the street.

Unfortunatly it is dark by the time I get out of work, but I decided to drive by GL today and from the picture linked below on my site, you can see that MHNF is still standing.

I got the chance to get over to Geauga Lake today and cot some current pics of MHNF. It is on it's way down. They are posted on my site.

Both are 1st Generation Intamin Freefalls.

Saw the pics. finally they are getting rid of that stupid ride. I am so glad it's going.

The first pic was a bad link. It is now fixed.

Maybe we'll get a Power Tower-like ride in its place in the next few years.

I hope so
