Antique/Cadillac Cars

Hello. An aquaintence of mine suggested that I check here to see if anyone knows how one would go about purchasing one of the Cadillac Cars or Antique Cars. Does CP (or anyone else) sell off used ones?

I doubt it. Your best bet would be to contact the park though.

If you read screamscape a while back this was a good question since the ride was closing! Sorry, just had to get that out! My guess is that none of them are for sale. But if you are just looking for something like it, check with amusement parks that have closed. I know that Santa's Village located by me is selling everything to whomever wants to buy it. Kinda like a garage sale. Six flags has closed a couple places lately also.

I wouldn't be surprised if you could find a beat up frame & body for one somewhere - contact the park, as Jugga said. And I'm pretty sure any B&S engine would work, as I'm assuming they use something similar at CP.

you could try checking ebay, but yea I would find a park that is closing or one that is just closing an antique car ride..make them an offer and work from there..

At one time, although it was a number of years ago, there was one for sale on Ebay. Granted, it wasn't from Cedar Point, but the pretty much the same thing.

I can not even begin to describe how MANY people asked me that this summer. For real, at least once every two weeks....

And people are serious. I mean they are pretty amazing, if I do say so myself.

There was this one guy I remember specifically, was really interested, his son loved them. Mind you his son was an adult with some mental handicaps... but he was amazing.... I miss them.... he really loved the cars... it might be the only car he ever gets to drive....

Its people like that keep us going year after year at Cedar Point...

I ended up finding a similar manufacturer but, as you can probably guess, the $$$ is up there. Gould Manufacturing in Canada makes them for about $14,000.00. For that kind of money, I want it to be street legal!

Why do they need both? One of the cadillac car rides need to go.

CPboy - I used to think that too. But now I can see where the slower attractions add to a nice park-like atmosphere rather than just a steel en-twisted paved over tract of land. I know i'm getting old now!
