Hello, For my first year 2005 I will be working the Antique Cars. How is it to work this ride????
Any info would be great.
Thanks,

Hey I'm Chris and I'll be your Team Leader this summer. Car rides are always a lot of fun to work. It's a fast pace and you're always doing something, there is very little down time from the time the day starts to the time you leave at night. We try to keep it fun and always have a good time. You'll also be working the Wave Swinger a few times a day, which can be a pretty relaxing break from the cars sometimes.
I'm really looking forward to having you on the crew this summer, and I can't wait for May to get here and I hope you feel the same. If you have any questions at all or would just like to talk my AIM screen name is MForce4Ever. Hope to talk to you soon!
P.S. Our ATL, Greg, posts on here as well, shouldn't be too long until he replies ;).

Hello, My names Greg, I will be your ATL. I know it is fast paced but being fast paced makes the days go alot quicker. Somedays you will love your job and some days will be just plain boring but it's work what can I say. Antiques hardly go down at all even during rain which I imagine is quite fun to bring in the cars in the pouring down rain. The is my 1st year working this ride as well only had 1 hour experience there this past year.Hope you have fun. i process in on the 12th of April. :)
Retired TL Ride Host 04-09 Miss you Cedar Point!
Hey there I used to work the cars for a bit before I transfered to snake river falls and then headed over to Geauga Lake. It does go really fast and the break to wave swinger is also a plus. Have fun over there. I will be right around you over at White Water Landing.

My only experience is with the Cads up in the front of the park, but I'm sure that the experience is fairly similar outside of the stations. You will definitely be moving a lot during the day at the ride so don't be surprised if you lose some weight over the summer. I went from 142 to 125 in three months. Definitely take advantage of the downtime you'll have at Wave Swinger.
You'll have a lot of fun though. There is always something going on so it never gets boring. Like Greg said, expect to work in some "fun" weather. I always enjoyed the rain, at least until my shoes got wet. I don't believe that I know your ATL, but I roomed with Chris last summer. He's a good guy and you should have quite a bit of fun this summer.
