If you look at one of the larger aerial overview wallpapers (the 1024 version appears to be mislinked to the composite picture), you can see the tiny little grandstand between the trees just outside of the launch track. Just look right across the track from the 'little Christmas tree' at the launch. I had larger grandstands in mind when I suggested them in October, and these don't seem large enough for a food stand underneath. Also, whenever that aerial mockup was drawn, they hadn't come up with the 'giant Christmas tree' idea. I'm sure the final product will be somewhat different in many ways from this drawing.
edit: One other note on that drawing is that the train on top of the hill is scaled way wrong. It appears to be about 75 feet long! Can that be right?

the Camp Snoopy dive, which seems always to be infested with strollers
I resemble that remark!
The burgers there are even more "well" done than in the rest of the park, if that is possible.
The problem is that some rides, Millennium Force comes to mind, are fired by a single reflector at the start of the train with timed bursts after that. That's great if the ride runs the same speed, but MF is far from consistant in that regard.

Put those 420 feet in the air and you have a problem. You can not run the ride with anyone working on a lift hill, or top of the ride in this example. Now you have downtime..
To even adjust the block camera's on Raptor I brought the ride down last season.

I guess some of you CP fans (Big D) get caught up in how great YOU think your rides are that you forget that OTHER people that ride coasters world-wide dont think they are as grand as you do...
