And then...depression set in

Well thanks to the new rain policy, the scant "all family" rides, & the crappy forecast, my clan has decided to forego the last weekend. I am sad I didn't get to say goodbye to the park & spend one last time on the beach & in the rotonda sipping tea.

Just wanted to say this year was extra nice getting to know some of ya'll over the last year. Next year, we will be visiting only a few times & opted out of season passes. As previously stated, this is due to the fact there is not enough rides we can all do as a family, so hubbie wants to explore other options that would keep us all together more. I hope the park will address this need in their upcoming plans to add to the park.

Hope everyone has a good time that goes to enjoy the last weekend! Eat a cheese on a stick for me! (Don't forget the mustard :))

Ya, and some people still aren't happy that they ONLY went 23 times. Haha. I'm lucky if I go once a year.

Good Grief, I feel exactly the same way. Although after looking at the webcams, it really didn't look like a great weekend to be up there.

That sucks.. last night wasn't too bad either.. light rain around 6-7 then that was it. Beautiful night.

We'll see if closing day is anything like that.

Is it my imagination or is it not raining at the moment and tomorrow is marked sunny on the weather forecast? When it comes to weather at the point you can't jump-the-gun. It changes way to rapidly.

Last night was incredible. Just a slight rain around 6...then the rest of the night was great. High humidity so the fog just hung in the air.

Today hasn't been too bad so far. Just an occasional light sprinkle.

The park is semi crowded, but nothing like the last 2 weekends have been. Taking a break from the park right now. Will go back in later.

It's been light rain on and off. The forcast I saw said 30% today and 10% tomorrow.

Yea, I know. I of course was willing to risk it. But the clan is not as obsessed as me. ;) My son was heard today saying: "mom, it's just an amusement park!"

Randi, don't feel bad. We didn't get to make it there for the last weekend neither. In fact, we were only there three times this year compared to 15 times last year and 27 times the year before. You can bet that we will be there for opening day '08 God willing. We will bring the charcoal and fluid and of course the hot dog chili that youns love...lol Just hope that Eric is there with the hotdogs...lol Hope to see you then.

I only got to go one time this year (as usual). I know your pain Randi. My depression will set in once the park is closed for the season. Which is what, less than 12hrs from now. :(

I only get about an average of 2 trips per season and I wish it could be so much more!! I'm thinking about getting a season pass for '08 because im planning on going way more than 2 times next year!

I went a record 7 times this year. Hopefuly more next year.

i would KILL for ONE TRIP a year. KILL.

Had 2 cheese on sticks for you Randi! Had to go to The Corral over by Raptor to get them. Place by the Space Spiral was closed and saw them dipping corn dogs there. One still had some solid cheese in side. Hope you enjoyed them!!!
