Amazing and unprecidented

Going back and reading the journal entries at the parks main web page has gotten me very excited. To label the new coaster Amazing and unprecidented tells me that this thing is going to be something incredible that possibly no one has ever seen before. Also the comment just before the vertical construction started, "this is only the beginning" is pretty interesting too. I think that this leans toward the theory that future construction on this coaster could be outside of the area that has already been established. Thus making a very LONG layout. One other thing of note is the size of the hill that is already erected. Looking at the workers standing at the bottom of this thing makes me guestimate that it is probably between 50-75 feet high. If that is the case, and this is towards the end of the ride, this thing will have to have some serious height, or possibly a mid-course launch. Let the flaming begin, but I want a topic on your theories...not a lot of bickering.

Like that's going to happen...

There is nothing to say that this is the end of the ride. Thats just assumption at this point.

Goodbye MrScott

There's WAY too many questions unanswered. Untill there is a formal annoucement, we will not know what is going on. It is fun to speculate (sp?) on what it's going to be.. *** Edited 8/23/2006 6:54:51 PM UTC by gotigers1***

the track layout so far does suggest pretty heavily that this is the end run....those two twists are not likely towards the beginning of the layout because 1. speed is an issue 2. It would just be boring. I do realize that it's an assumption, but everything is at this point.

I wouldn't rule out a midcourse launch.

Wasn't the "amazing and unprecedented" comment directed at T&T being called into the office to look at the Project 2007 folder? They weren't actually using that to describe the ride I thought.

I think this coaster is just going to be fun. Not some monster thriller. But, I'll love it just the same. It just LOOKS cool!! :)

I thought about that, I guess it could be used to describe that. But it could also be used to describe the ride. I guess thats up to you to decide. But I do know that if that bunnyhop hill is towards the end run, this thing is going to be incredible.

I completely agree with you djcreep. i have been thinking the same thing for quite a while. It will definately be interesting to see where the next few eeks go with the construction.

Halltd???

Why would a meeting with a higher up be amazing and unprecidented?

I would assume any marketing department would have these meetings about any future announcement with the brass of any company.

If not I can't wait for my first amazing and unprecidented meeting with my boss.

I believe the "amazing and unprecedented" phrase refers to the fact that they were given full access to the project details, rather than that they were simply meeting with their boss.

Also, you have to separate real life from, umm, "blog life", I suppose. They're trying to make the blog interesting enough to read, so they gave it a cool title. Would you have been as interested in the blog if it were titled "Normal and Mundane"?

Brandon

what dj said. :)

Careful, Tim. Any endorsement of my comments may come across as bashing and/or lacking any semblance of respect for others' opinions. ;)

ha ha ha ha ha!! Yes, I realize this. But, such is life.
