Saturday October 13th, left Pittsburgh around 9 and got there close to 1:30. Started off with a 1 hour wait for Millenium Force. Still a great ride, does it seem louder to anyone else though? Rode pretty much everything without a line. Suprise of the day was deffinetely Mean Streak. The sleeping giant was finally awoken, what a difference no trim brakes can do to a ride. Smooth as glass and no more crawling through the turns. Returned to Millenium Force around 8 or so, only to find a closed line and a downtime approximated to be a few hours. Thats when the nightmare began. Walked to Magnum only to find a 1 hour line , but decided to wait. Got into the station and waited for front car. The horrific dream took a turn for the worse and Magnum was shut down for an unknown amount of time. Decided to wait and it re-opened in about 30 min. I woke up from my bad dream and the night was great again. Nice smooth ride on Magnum. Ran to Millenium Force to meet my mom and it was also opened. Decided to wait the 1 hour and 15 minutes. I drug my mom on, she was extremely scared. Not sure if anyone who is reading this was there but they will know what im talking about. She made a HUGE scene in front of the whole loading station, she was so afraid, lol. She got in the car and screamed before the ride even left. She almost got off but decided to stay on. None the less she loved the ride as it was indeed perfect. Got a quick ride on Mantis at about 11:30 and sprinted to Raptor. Finished the night with 3 near walk on rides. A perfect ending to a perfect day. I have huge amounts of respect for the engineers who got the 2 rides opened so quickly. Way to go Cedar Point!!!!
good story.
