I probably wouldn't, as this is my first year having a Platinum Pass and I still really only intend on being at Cedar Point once or twice this summer. I'd probably be better off buying the FP+ once or twice during my vacation (which I still haven't done or felt a need to do because I always go for multiple days.) Then I think, if I went to CP more often and spread out more, I probably still wouldn't because I wouldn't feel the need, if I can go back whenever I wanted...
If you are close to CP and can make it out there a few times a year a Fast Pass Plus I don't think would be worth it. I only got it because its not a trip I make very often. Next time I go I will be staying at the park and make it more of a vacation. Last weeks trips was a non stop 2 and half day marathon lol
