I’ve called the park each of the past few years asking this question, been told yes and no. Can’t tell you whether we got early entry or not because it turns out I don’t have any friends.

I have called the park as well and been told yes but only brought a guest in once to ERT, however I have never seen anything in writing stating this so best to call and get a name.

You do actually get both yes and no answers, however in practice they have allowed it.

On the topic of gate prices, I went with a friends youth group last year, and they bought tickets for the whole group at the gate. I was just standing there thinking what are you doing???

Well, depending on when a group orders the tickets, you may have to pay for them at the gate. You can still reserve your tickets ahead of time, but unless it is about 2 weeks out they will simply hold them at the gate for you and you pay for them there. You still get the group rate, which is up about 1 dollar across the board this year (some of you may find it interesting that a small group ticket is about 4 dollars cheaper early in the season; it goes up during Halloweekends).
