ALERT: Approaching from the South...

You're probably right, Dave. Since it wasn't effecting OH 2, I guess I just didn't notice then! :) Plus, all I could think about was getting to the park!

My advice to anyone heading in from the West who normally take steh turnpike is to get off at the Fremont exit and head south the mile or so to US 6 and then take 6 all the way through downtown and to the park. Faster than 4 by a long shot anyway.

A better route from the Fremont turnpike exit would be to head north on Route 53 which will then run into Route 2. The you can get off at 6 or go to 250.

Gemini:

The difference between Campbell and Columbus Ave, is of course train tracks. Columbus Ave passes under them, and Campbell passes over them, and can be stopped by a train.

Tank:

If you take Campbell in, it turns into Scott St. at Columbus. No twists or turns, just a straight shot, with a couple of stops.

Yes, but for people coming up from Columbus, we're accustomed to stopping at the train tracks...a Caledonia, South Bucyrus, North Bucyrus, Chatfield, Attica, Siam, and Bellevue. One more track isn't gonna make that much of a difference. :)

Tambo, taking 53 north out of Fremont is about 20 minutes farther then going the mile south and taking 6 east out of Fremont. 53 just goes way to far north, in fact once you get on 2 it heads back south again. Always get off on 6 as 250 is way too far east and far too busy.
