Advice on where to stay?

To be fair, they're pretty up front about the $25, at least on the web site.
Someone asked about the Best Western. That's where the wife and I stay. The rooms are decent, the pool is nice, I've never had a cold shower there (my BIGGEST pet peeve at a hotel) and the Perkins right on site is nice. You can actually get Perkins room service and sign for it to your room, so its all on one bill. NICE...

One day, we will stay on Point. I'd like to stay at Breakers, or if we get a group Lighthouse Point would be nice. Someday...

But then again, what do I know?

I like the Hampton Inn on 250. Nice rooms, nice pool and free breakfast

I'll put in another vote for the Best Western. When I'm not staying at a Cedar Point property, that's my first choice. The Perkins is very convenient, but make sure to allow plenty of time, as it can get quite busy.

My family stayed there when I was growing up, and I stay there now.

Has anyone stayed in the older section of Hotel Breakers which has no elevator access? I'm wondering what those rooms are like. The rooms are $140 per night compared to $240. But for $140 per night, I'm hoping it will be a decent room.
Those rooms are nice. You are just going to sleep there, right?

Best place to eat is the Taco Bell acroos from the Econo Lodge.

It may be a 30 - 50 minute wait though.

This is if only 3-4 cars are in line ahead of you.

I have stayed in the Bon Aire section (the older area) of Breakers. The rooms are alright, pretty much your standard hotel rooms. If you can do without the elevator, it's not a bad deal.

I stayed at that one place right next to Radisson. It had a pool about 10ft long, and the room wasn't exactly a penthouse suite, but I didn't really mind, I normally sleep on the floor anyway. Plus it was right next door to the Friday's at Radisson. I imagine that the year after this one Radisson will be a really good place to stay with the waterpark and everything.

Someone better explain what's going on here...or...there will be a lot of explaining to do!

I stayed at Breakers Express overnight one night because me and my friends were really tired and didn't feel like driving back that night. So we stayed one night. It's really nice. You have a Tv with cable, a nice swimming pool and hot tub. I recommend it.

My daughter will be an entertainer this summer in one of the musical revues at the park so I will be bringing some elderly relatives in to see the shows. Since they don't have the stamina for a full day at the park, it's important that we stay at a nice motel/hotel and I'd also like suggestions for nice restaurants in the area. THANKS!!
