Adjusting Start/End Dates...

Hi everyone,

I had an interview yesterday with Debra and I'm on the Raptor Crew for this summer ( :) ). It's a long story but I'll make it as short as possible. I'm going to college next fall as a freshman and my current contract is wrong because..

1. I thought she would go by (she didn't) the dates that I gave her on my application, not the dates I gave her as to when I graduate high school and start college.

2. The date for college starting I gave her was wrong because of both a misinterpretation of the website (the calendar was from 06) and a staff member at Niagara who provided me with incorrect information.

I haven't decided if I'm going to email her or call her, but quite honestly, I'm about to have a panic attack over the whole thing. I had already called her back today to understand why she didn't go by MY schedule, where she agreed to delay my start date by one day, and now she has to redo my contract yet again.

I guess what I'm asking is if any of you have had similar experiences with this and how accomodating they are. I feel really bad I made such a mistake and I feel like such a nuisance because I keep messing up dates.

Should I be worried? Is this a big deal? Thanks.

I go though like 3 contracts every year so I wouldn't worry about it to much.

Last year, I decided to transfer to a different college so my contract had to be changed alot but it wasn't a big deal. They didn't mind.

Better to fix it now then to fix it in the middle of the season.

Is it better to call them or email them? Or it doesn't matter?

Well, a phone call is always more personal and sounds more professional than an email.

I had a thing like this happen last year. Just call up and it will be taken care of.
