My Hummer ;) and I arrived at the Sandusky Radisson Sunday morning. The entire drive felt like deja vu to me since this Christmas party was the same place at the GOCC Christmas party was earlier in the week. Again met up with some of my CP buds (and groupies :)) Tony, (Tony) Matt, (Skykicker) as well as (Dr;)) Ken, and the GOCC VP, Bob McCallum. Ours was the trouble maker table again-we had a blast! (I know Bob had to think more than once that he made an mistake sitting with us! ;)) It is becoming obvious to me that we can not eat together!! Other GTTP'ers that were there that we knew was Scott,
(Shivering Tim) Dave (Rideman) and the famous Magnum Dan (Dan) The party itself was a great time! The SFWOA presentation and of course the CP presentation, the door prizes, the videos and slides presentation were great! :) Kudos to Scott for his July 4th CP video and Howard Gillooly's presentation of old CP rides/attractions was awesome and sad! I really enjoyed Janice's "Top ten things about the new ride" list. Larry's Europe tour slide presentation was great, places and coasters this person will NEVER get a chance to see! During one of the breaks we went into the Radisson's gift shop which is more like a gift shop at CP. There was this CP shirt I had seen on closing day that I wanted to get but never did, I found that same shirt it that store! It's mine! The food again was very good, especially the chocolate mousse, or chocolate volcano once Matt got done with it. No food snowman made this time! ;) After party over we headed to Battery Park to take some skyline pictures from across the bay. The big yellow thing looks HUGE and from that view, definitely looks as tall as (or taller) than MF. I found it interesting there was a light on the support already, made me wonder if it was at it's tallest height already, which considering the track isn't completed yet that would be impossible. Thankfully Rideman showed up to help with my technical question! :) One of the highest points of the day was when Matt and I headed to Sandusky Mall-why? To try to hunt down Mr Skyward! Unfortunitely for us he must have been at some sporting event some where because we could not find him :( I also found out that our famous Mr Skyward, aka Sandusky Sports Guy, also has another handle, "Croton Lou"-you'll need to ask Dr Ken where that name came from! I did see a few faces at the mall I did recognize from CP. Dr Ken then ended up showing up, he was actually shopping though. Someone noticed Ken's MF jacket (yes the 350.00 one like Tony owns) and then advised us he was one of the steel workers who built MF-we thanked him! :) Despite no Mr Skyward even that was a great time, I can't wait to get my pictures back from both parties and Battery Park! I get a funny feeling the '03 season is going to be awesome considering how much fun we have together without even being at the park!! :) Tony and Matt thank you again for another great time!! Since I am not a member of ACE (GOCC & CB for me!) thanks for inviting me Tony!! Jeff (UCICESIP) and Flora (RCRed) we missed you guys! TWO exit passes for us-ONE for you! ;)
One other interesting Po!nt is if according to my name tag I live in Lorain, why did it still take me 2.75 hours to get home? ;)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)
Jo, my badge said Lorain and was home in about a half hour?

Loops, hills, giant yellow towers. Is it May Yet ?
It was A great time, sorry that I could not hang with you guys at the mall but two x-mas parties in the same day was just to much traveling to have the time. Jo, like Matt said my name tag said Lorain also and I was home in 1/2 hour. You must have gotten lost! Everyone take care and have A safe and happy holiday! See everyone in the spring.
