Normally, you do not pick the hotel you work in but it wouldn't hurt to make a request.

It isn't the most thrilling job in the park but they do work in a/c all day and, as I said, they don't have to work at night. Housekeepers can be some of the biggest party-ers.
Another question(s) about Accomodations - I noticed on one of the extra applications I have left over from last year that Guest and Employee Accomodations are in the same catagory - but I have my heart set on working in one of the hotels. So if I were to apply for Accomodations, would there be a chance that I'd get put in Employee Accomodations instead? That'd be a bummer, because strange as it may sound, I really love cleaning hotel rooms, it's always been my favorite job. When (if) I get interviewed, could I request Guest Accomodations, or is it not up to me? Also, do the hotel housekeeper positions fill up fast?
One more thing, for anyone who might know - how long is the training in Accomodations? I heard that it was pretty extensive...and what kind of work do hotel housekeepers do before the season begins? Is there a lot that needs to be done in the hotels or do you get put in another department until the hotels open? I really appreciate everyone who's been able to answer my questions so far, you guys are great :)
You should stipulate you want to work in the hotels and it shouldn't be a problem. Guest Acc. needs far more employees than Employee Acc.
