That's because I was doing something disk intensive on the server. Should be a passing thing.

It took a day or so to get an opinion.
At first I didn't like the text style.
The border impressed me from the start.
Had trouble finding a few things.
But now, I can navagate your new site just fine.
I like it, thanks Jeff & Walt.
GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
I think change is good and I appreciate the effort you guys put into making this site.
I have to say though I think the forums are painful to look at. There is just too much white. The bar that has the poster's name in it is barely noticeable. To me the forums look more like a template then a finished site. Open coasterbuzz in a new tab and look how much easier it is to look at and how much more organized it is with the different colored backgrounds.
Because he's pushing the code button. Don't type code. Don't push the "#" button.

Jeff -
Noticed that in the News forum, the Google ads (which I shouldn't be seeing ;)) are creeping on top of the first post, as seen here.

Only one minor, not complaint, but issue.
If you double click the usernames before the drop down fully loads, it breaks, and wont retract. All other ones will open, however none will retract. This was an issue in the beta test of the forums too, I believe.
Other than that, it looks pretty good from my end.
This is me typing without pressing the # sign
Now I pressed the # sign, it looks the sameto me..
But I do see other text styles, that look better.

Just one comment about the new look of the site...
The site looks great. But not all of us have ultra-hi-res monitors to look at it on. I'm still running my laptop at 1024x768, and a lot of the titles...the thread titles on the main forum page, the breadcrumbs, that kind of thing...it's all GIGANTIC! To put it into perspective, using the same size browser window, I can get 13 thread titles from CoasterBuzz into the space occupied by 8 titles on PointBuzz.
I realize that I am getting older, but I am not exactly hunting for the Large Print Web just yet! Since you're obviously using CSS, how about making some of the font sizes a preference setting?

^ Lol! I don't mind; I can't see to save my (or anyone elses!) life without my contacts in anyway. I like the private message prompt much better than the little number it used to have. Except that it doesn't all fit on my screen, so I have to scroll over & it seems like it should say "loser" after, "you have no new messages". ;)

So don't double-click it. :)
