If you go to millineam force and top thrill dragster's page under cedarpoint.com and click next to rider safety guide the more icon if you read that paragraph it says this. Please try the test seat at the ride entrance and ensure the seatbelt fastens and tightens one inch. Well last year on both of those coasters didn't intamin give cedarpoint permission only to tighten the belt half an inch? They must have changed it again or maybe its a typo.
How do you miss spell Millennium when its on the page your spelling it on? No, it has always been 1 inch of slack.

Why have any Space? Wouldn't it being pulled as tight as possible be better? Or is the One inch thing there to prove you can fit in it?

Actually Coaster25 is correct. Beginning on CoasterMania this past summer, the 1 inch rule was changed to 1/2 inch. It is possible that the rule was changed back to 1 inch. There might have been some adjustments or changes made to the seats and/or seatbelts this offseason. I know from working the ride for pretty much the entire season that 99% of the complaints against us were about the seatbelts. I hope they did do something to fix the situation, because it was a major problem that was neglected by management for most of the 2005 season.
Thanks, Top Thrill Dragster. Never learned that it was changed to 1/2 an inch.

There were rumors (although management denied them) that the belts were going to be longer this year. Perhaps if they are indeed longer, they went back to the 1 inch slack requirement as a sort of compromise between the two.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

How can you call out someone on a spelling error and then misspell misspell?

Well, next time try using a spell checker instead of making yourself look like an idiot.

Use Google... usually it acts as a spell checker.

I just looked at the rider safety guide MF and TTD now says one half inch of slack on the test seats. The ride safety guide is at http://www.cedarpoint.com/_upload/pdf/2006_rider_safety_guide.pdf . I want to go to the point sometime this spring but I'm going to wait until some early trip reports come in about the seat belts.
While I was reading through the Safety Guide, I noticed something under Skyhawk's warnings:
"The manufacturer prohibits persons with a fear of heights from riding Skyhawk."

I am have been right at the point of fitting and not fitting. Im a bigger guy but by no means am I a fat slob. I haven't been to the park since 2004's opening weekend. I held a season pass for the past 6 years and never renewed it because of the seatbelt issues on MF and Dragster. I hope they address it. I was never turned down to ride, but I imagine that every ride ops opinion is different, and I refuse to fit in the test chair, and get up to the ride and be told that I cannot ride.
I have seen many people that were not of unreasonable size get turned down.
I imagine that some of the ride ops had to feel really bad telling people that they could not ride.
I'm going opening weekend to give it a shot and see what is new/changed. I will be there Sunday. If anyone can send some updates on Saturday night I would appreciate it.

That happens all the time. You fit the test seat, but get turned away after waiting an hour in line. You also may fit on the yellow train one time, get in line again and get the blue train and not be able to fit. The belt lengths vary from seat to seat, train to train. Hopefully I will be good this year though, I lost about 30lbs. Hopefully it is not an issue with me anymore.
