We have combo season passes, and probably cross the turnstiles 10 times per year. Some of those entraces are very short---for example, we arrived at maybe 8:30PM on opening day, just in time to ride one or two things, catch the fireworks, and crash in our room at Breakers.
If we're spending a half day or more, we eat at least one meal on the peninsula, usually two, and in rare instances three. If it is two or more, usually at least one of those is a sit-down meal. I don't actually know what that rings up to eventually.
We'll usually grab a snack (pretzel, fries, elephant ear, ...) per person in total over the course of a day, shared as we go.
We buy the kids an occasional lemonade, but mostly drink ice water.
A typical day might inlcude an on-ride photo or two. It might include a midway game or two for the family. It might include face painting or hair coloring or a temporary tatoo.
If you add it all up, we're well above the company-wide average per-capita spending of $38 or so from the 2004 annual report. We spend less on admission than most do, but more on other in-park things.
We also contribute quite a bit to out-of-park revenues, both in hotels and restaurants.
I doubt I spend more than $ 5.00 in the park on any one visit. I bring a picnic lunch and soda's, and drink water in the park. I *might* buy frozen custard or garlic fries. Yet to ride any upcharge rides, and most likely won't.

Spending really varies for us. Some days I can spend hours in the park, and not drop the first dime. Free water & all. Other days, well, it adds up. And when you sign for drinks at the Bubbles Bar, and the Bartender says "You must be a good friend", you know you've spent a bundle on Boat Drinks. :) (Those Polish Twin brothers can mix a mean Pina Colada)

So, some of the more efficient (see also: frugal ;) ) park-goers have brought the rolling average down to just over $30.
Current average = $30.40

I think I blew about $200 or more in 1999. It was my last check from my summer job and I totally blew it. All of it. Down the drain. The only thing I have left is a tape I recorded.
Ticket Price. Maybe an order of fries. Small souvineir if I find something I like.
$40-$50

They haven't been announcing per cap spending the last few years, have they? I recall several years ago it was in the high 30's, but it's gotta be over $40 by now.

Average Cedar Fair Park per cap was $38 last year, so I would bet CP is well above that considering their admission price alone is $10 above any other CF park (pre discount). If we throw in resort and soak city spending, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was close to $50.

^ Per-cap could be lower because of the ticket prices being higher. More expensive admission means less money left over in the wallet to blow on cheese fries and shot glasses.
Yeah Jeff, as Joe pointed out, the per-cap is $38 for last year. With this thread I'm trying to get a feel for who (demographically) spends what and what they spend it on.

You'd be surprised dj, I always manage to find some money to get a shot glass, I have 10 of them!

I stick to my Millennium Force one and the one with my name on it. I also have my 18 other non-Cedar Point ones.

Crap. Now I have a severe case of shot glass envy. I thought I owned the largest shot glass collection in the Midwest.
My collection sits at 30, hopefully it will grow soon. I have lots of them but a rarely get to use them cause the parties never take place at my house:(.

I have about 10. I bought a set of 4 at CP last summer. My latest is a shot glass that I bought for $3 at Los Angeles International Airport. I don't get to use mine much either. I think I was still in college the last time I used them.
