A sad day for cedarpointers!

Well cedarpoint plans are finialized! There getting a intimin shuttle on the beach.The Boardwalk project is DEAD!!!! They cancelled The B&M,HYpersonic,and the classic woodie!I'm going up saturday to cash in my season pass! this is the last year for me!I'm tired of cedarpoint running their park in the ground! I won't support it!

CP hasn't Officially said what the plans for 2002 are going to be. So....

Hold on.... hold on.....Hold on.... to your season pass at least till we all find out. ( sorry i couldn't resist )

I hope a lot of people feel this way so I can get more laps on whatever CP does finally announce...:)

Unless you work for the park and know for sure that those WERE under contract (and the fact that you want to "cash in your season pass" indicates you DON'T), then it's pretty hard to say that Cedar Point "cancelled" anything, now isn't it?

OH MY GOD, WHAT WILL WE DO??? If it turns out to be an Intamin shuttle/ Intamin Impulse, great! How can you honestly say that the park is running itself into the ground? Did Millennium Force, Raptor, Magnum, Mean Streak, Mantis, Iron Dragon leave the park? I hope you do go cash in your season pass...less waits for me :)

cancelled? When did they say they were buliding the B&M, the HyperSonic, and the woodie in the first place?

This is why I avoid ignorant people. Coincidentally, I try to avoid people from my school as much as possible as well.

for one thing this inside info: and i know you don't belive jeff about the boardwalk project,but it was true! It's was part of a $100.million park improvement's for the front end of the park! They cancelled it for this year,and for next year!It's amazing to me,that sixflaggs ohio did it,cedarpoint cancels it out again! you keep forgeting that cedarpoint over paid for that water park in palm spring and M E. my understanding is that ME. is getting more in capital improvments then cedarpoint is! Now look at the park,how is cedarpoint a classic park,like they bragg that it is!

First thing is good for you that you are tired of CP's operations. "Let the experts run the park." Second is there are parks in much worse shape than CP and that's not saying anything against the park.

You know, Cedar Point is more than just what they're planning for next year. If you really want to complain, become a Disney theme park fan. They have a right to complain. As far as Cedar Point goes, I'll remain loyal 'till they start tearing out everything and replace it with condos.

Why should a Disney theme park fan complain. If you are a fan of Disney theme parks then it is safe to assume you don't claim that the rollercoaster is the only thing that can make a good park.

The fact that Disney has been successful over all of these years without the traditional role of the rollercoaster says a lot about Disney.

Where would Six Flags or Cedar Point be if they had to rely pretty much on service and movies for their draw? I can tell you where SFWoA would be...back in the Geauga Lake days!
