A little FYI
The Sandusky Planning Commission on Wednesday approved an employee recreation facility for Cedar Point. The 6,960-square-foot facility will be built on undeveloped land west of the Cedar Point employee dormitories on Second Street.
The only part of the proposal the planning commission staff took issue with was the plan for barbed-wire fencing, but Cedar Point's Terry Ross assured Chief Planner Tom Gibbons they could work something out.
The facility will be open each night until two hours after Cedar Point closes, Ross said. Responding to concerns about noise, he said if there is any live entertainment, it will be indoors.
"It will be air-conditioned, and will just give them a retreat," he said.
COOL BEANS HUH?
