First of all, if you have checked out the Park Cam at all today, you will have noticed how INSANELY CROWDED the park was. It wasn't the *largest* crowd I have ever seen, but it sure comes close to Saturday 10/14/00. Examples: The Millennium Force line was all the way back to the temporary queues the whole day, at 4:00 Magnum had an hour wait, the DT line was consistently outside of the building, and yes even Mine Ride had a consistent 15 or 20 minute wait.
In addition, it wasn't the best day for Mine Ride. We came to take a ride on MR at about 11, and we found that there were no trains running. I also noticed a few maitenance trucks inside the structure. We came back at 12 and it was still not running. Finally they started sending out empty trains, and it was opened at about 1. By this time Frontiertown was packed, and there was actually a real line. I waited for 15 or 20 minutes. Finally after my Mine ride, Natalie told me that the problem in the morning was that MINE RIDE ROLLED BACK. I didn't talk to her long enough to find out the exact cause, but I guess it had to do with the blast of cold weather overnight and in the morning. Because of the rollback, they were only able to run two trains. This was one of the factors in the line. Anyways, Natalie pretty much explained it as a frustrating morning for the beloved Mine Ride...
