Just a couple of quick questions for a newbie:
1. What bank has the ATM's at Cedar Point? I have an account with a local bank but I want to switch so it doesn't cost anything to get money out at CP.
2. How can I get a parking pass so I can park at CP?
Thank you all very much. I can't wait to meet all of you.

1. The bank question I don't know but I think it was US bank?
2.When you process in you can get a form for a parking pass from your department office. If you quit or leave your job you must return the pass or pay like $65 dollars for it.
1. I do believe there is ONE U.S. Bank ATM in Cedars and National City Bank ATMs throughout the park and at the Commons Store.
2. What he said

Another quick question, I've heard that CP offers direct deposit through US Bank (I emailed HR a few months back.) I have an account there, so are there reps from the bank to fill out the forms when you process in, or do you have to do it through a branch? Thanks for the help!

If my memory serves me correctly, I had to go the the U.S. Bank branch at Meijer's and tell them that I was a CP employee and they set it up.

Ok, sounds good. Hopefully I can find a branch, shouldn't be that hard to find a meijer's! Yeah, I figured I wouldn't have the time to go to a bank every payday. Thanks for the help guys.

In the past a few representives came to the park to sign people up for the US Bank. You would get a check book and a debit card.

Be careful before you jump into direct deposit with US Bank. Read the fine print. Know about minimum balances. Read your statements carefully. Last year, both of my roomates had major issues with US Bank. I use National City but I have a car, and someone without transportation would have difficulty making it to the bank. Check the thread from last year:http://www.pointbuzz.com/cpplace.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=13996
I didnt have any trouble with US bank and minimum deposits. I liked it. I know that my check was there when I woke up on Thursday morning. GET THE DEBIT CARD!!!!!! IT SAVES YOUR LIFE WHEN YOU NEVER GET TO GO TO THE BANK!!!!
i did direct deposit on my first season and the money i showed on my check stub was never the same in my bank thats with me adding and subtracting the stuff i withdrew
I remember that thread from last year. Words of caution.
Anyway... I already have a NC account, so I think I will stick with them. ATM in the park? How can I lose?

Cash your checks, keep your money. If you're saving then open a savings account and make deposits. You can trust your own pocket and God's good graces more than ATM's and Debit cards. My opinion. I did the 5th/3rd bank. It was a mess. I used U.S.Bank years ago and they were a wicked and sinsister bunch... Believe everything you've heard! I've been with the same bank for over 7 years now. Never had any trouble at all. They were actually a good bank. The last few months however there doing that sneaky stuff and even blatently pulling stunts to squeeze out some more cash from me. So...That's why I suggest you keep your own money.
Yes banks have all kinds of service charges. Sorry but My bank, while it takes these charges also, sends me a staetment which show's where the charges came from. Most of the charges I didn't like where extra charges from using the debit card as a credit card. They didn't tell me about that. But after that, just don't spend money you don't have. those $30 dollar charges add up quickly. But that's how banking works!
