A Case of Really Bad Time Management--5/4/03

Saturday night, my friend from Louisiana, who still manages to have a CP season pass, came up for opening day and asked if I wanted to go with him. He, another friend of ours, and I all made our way up to Cedar Point. While we couple of shmucks just had regular tickets, my Louisiana friend had the Joe Cool Club option, and he went in without us a half an hour early, getting in line for TTD right away. When me and my other friend, Todd, got in, we took our time getting to the line, standing for no more than ten minutes before we decided the four hour wait wasn't worth it when most other things had very small lines. We went and rode Wicked Twister twice in a row with no wait, Magnum in 15 minutes, Millenium Force in 1.5 hours, and a bunch of other stuff, before meeting up with our Joe Cool Club friend Jay after 3 hours or so. We went on Mantis, ate lunch at the Chuck Wagon, and did DT and some other stupid stuff for kicks. Our major error, though, was continually going to "one more thing" before Dragster. It was in this fashion that we got ready to ride TTD too late to get out in time (I'm in high school you know.) So, I left Cedar Point opening day(after a couple of rides on Raptor), and Todd and I did not ride the tallest, fastest, most bad-@$$ roller coaster on the face of the planet.

I just have one thing to say: D'oh!
