9/1: Best 3.5 hours ever

If anybody lives remotely close to the point, you know that yesterday was a generally crappy day. After consistently raining all day, it started to slow to a on/off drizzle, so me and a couple friends figured we'd head to the park for a few hours of short lines. We knew we were in for a good time when we saw that there were no more than 100 cars in the front parking lot. We got in the park, and found that the rain had scared virtually everybody away. For the first time ever, I saw Raptor running one train, and the wait was still walk up with a 1/4 filled station. After hitting that 4 times, we headed down for a quick space shot, only ones on our tower, then on to Magnum where there were about 20 people in the station, half of which were waiting for front seat. After 3 rides there, we headed for the best part...a five minute wait for MF which consistently got shorter as the night went on. By time we got to our 11th ride in about 1.5 hours or so, there were only 6 people on the train. I've never seen the park that deserted, and have a feeling I won't see it again for a while. It was awesome getting in more rides than you could on a full summer day in less than 4 hours, and riding MF in the rain is always fun!

Yeah I was there from about 4-8 and I had a blast. Spent more time riding than waiting in line. My brother and our friend Bryan just got their season passes yesterday and we had a blast. It was also the first time I got to see Dragster transfer off its trains.

You guys are so lucky. Being to the park when I have, you would never imagine the park that empty.
How was the line for Dragster this day? Was it open?

Chris, everything I say is a lie. Except that. And that. And that and that and that and that and that. And that.

That was the only bad part of the day. It was closed, presumably, because it was lightly raining most of the day, and while other coasters are fine in that, even little rain drops at 120 mph would cause some damage to your face.

If it did open up, and even if every last person in the park got in line, the wait wouldn't have been more than 15 minutes.

Was there three train op on Millie? What about the other coasters?
