line extending out of the normal queue and going towards the bathrooms, my
friends and I headed to Maggie for a most excellent ride. Then, it was over to
Gemini where i was dissapointed they weren't racing the red and blue trains.
After that, we rode the Mine Ride and Mean Streak. (it was in no way rough...
squealed quite a bit, but it was smooth for a woodie.) We then headed over to
Thunder Canyon for a ride, then to Millie, where I got to meet 'Jamin. Nice
guy. (who currently has a Dead computer.) Rode last row. Arguably better than
the front row. The pull over the hill is intense. We then decided to cool off
@ the Disaster Transport, which oddly enough had a line out the door. Got to meet some really cool people from Rochester, NY.
After that, it was over to Raptor. The wait was only 30 min, but I was a bit
bummed out... The ride almost seemed too short in comparison to the other trips
to ride her. We took a break @ Macaroni's and had some food. (excellent
service, especally since we were only charged for our pizza, 1 drink and 1 salad
plate instead of 3.) Then it was over to Mantis.
This is where i got really annoyed. All those clouds of little teensy bugs (we can even call them "wee") decided to follow me through the Mantis queue. They also decided to impale themselves on my face and in my eyes as I rode Mantis. You can imagine me spitting out bugs as I hear "Welcome back Mantis riders! How was your ride?" I decided to say watch out for the bugs to the next front car riders, and leave it at that. :)
We then skipped Iron Dragon (which i wanted to ride but was not willing to contend with the bug clouds again) and headed to Demon Drop. Dreat ride as always.
Overall, excellent day @ the park. the only hinderance: exaustion (from 3 hrs of sleep the night before) and bugs. 9 out of 10 day.
