These were the main players in my visit to the PO!NT, infact they were the only players. The park was a little busy (but I am NOT complaining).

7:10 A.M. - Depart from Roseville, MI (20 minutes north of the Motor City)

8:30 A.M. - Depart Motor City after 1 hour of bumper to bumper traffic.

10:45 A.M. - Arrive on Cedar Point causeway along with the other half of the midwest.

11:10 A.M. - Walking through the front gates.

A trip that usually takes 2.5 hours took 4. But it's alright, no harm done, it is a beautiful day. We parked around 32 A, and then headed in the park. I made this trip with four non-coaster-buff friends, and it was all about fun. I see that Raptor has a long line(over an hour) and a very short FreeWay line, but for some odd reason nobody wants to get a stamp... fine. We walk back to MF to see a 1.75 hour wait, and a FreeWay line that stretches back by the photo-shop. We figured we wouldnt get a stamp because the sign said 8-9 PM and figured there would be no stamps left. So finally, we decide to embark on our first coaster ride of the day. Cedar Creek Mine Ride.

Something odd happened in line that I have never seen before. Just as our group of 5 entered the line the attendant closed the line behind us but the ride was still operational. We were the last ones to enter the queue. We were also on the last train before after they closed the line, and the ride ops questioned wheter or not to let us go. Anybody know why? Anyways, the ride was fun... it seemed smoother and faster than last year, and I really had a good time.

Next up, Mean Streak. Not before stopping for the train (a common occurance, as we would literally be stopped 7 times that day at crossings) The line stretched halfway through "the tunnel", and moved pretty quick. We sat in the last car and were on our way. There was the normal trim breaks, and very slow first turn, but the ride seemed to pick up pace, and it wasn't that rough, to my suprise there was actually great airtime *gasp* on the drop before the mid-course break run.

Next up the "barrels of fun". I love these things and have never noticed them before. For a quarter you get a phoenomenal foot massage that lasts for a few minutes and gives a great feeling afterward. They are outside the shooting gallery in FrontierTown. Highly recommended!

We hit Gemini twice (not in a row, once around noon, and once later in the afternoon.) The second ride was awesome. We rode in the blue train, and received a trimless helix, wow. That's all there is to say.

After the morning Gemini ride we wanted to ride Magnum, but were not prepared for an hour wait. Hey look, lets ride Chaos! Fun ride. Great ride op! She had a pretty thick accent, and kept yelling at people to get off the handrails. She would just say "please do not sit on the hand rails, little boy in the black shirt please do not sit on the handrails," and would keep on repeating this until the person got off. I found it very funny.

Paddlewheel was a good time, and I was looking around at Area 51 just trying to imagine a roller coaster standing there.

Power Tower and a stop at Midway market was next, and after that we were ready to wait in a 2 hour line for MF.

The line was 1.5 even though everybody else in my group thought it would be "atleast 3 hours", why do they question what I say??? Right when we entered the last block, they took the yellow train off, and a maintence man was fixing something underneath the second row outside seat. (He actually took the seat off) here I thought it would have been something to do with the wheels. I was very happy that we got that far with 3 trains running though. We get on the ride near the front and have an amazing ride, ready to buy our photos *Scandal Alert*. What? What's this? Computer problems, and invisible "obscene gestures"? One girl in our group had her heart set on a photo, and would stop at nothing to get it, I am still thanking her. She requested to talk to the supervisor, because she wanted her picture and there was not an obscenity in the photo in question. Here are the steps we took to get this photo.

1) Walk to Park Services office in Kiddy Kingdom (wait 20 minuted to get a hold of the Merchandise Manager)

2) Walk back to MF to talk to manager

3) Get denied the photo

4) Walk back to Park Services

5) Girl and one other person wait to fill out forms and talk to the MF supervisor Deborah.

6) The rest of us jump in the 45 minute line for Raptor and enjoy a second row seat.

7) Got off Raptor to find our friends with 5 Special Entry passes for any ride in the park.

8) Walk up the exit for MF and bypass a 2 hour line.

9) Get the photo.

How is that for a mission. I could have really cared less about the picture, but I commend my friend for not putting up with any crap. She was very happy.

Now it is nine O'clock and we have 9-10 FreeWay Stamps for WT that we picked up somewhere earlier in the day.

We waited 10-15 minutes for Wicked Twister, and the ride program definatley different from the last time in May I came to CP. However, it was still outstainding, and I hope it will be restored to its former glory soon. I took a "spin" in the money seat (15-1 right side) and actually got a little more than 360 degree spinnage on the 2nd pass up the rear tower, something I wasn't expecting. We only got a little bit of twist on the front spike on the 2nd pass, and didn't even get to vertical on the other two. It was awesome at night, and the view of the waves crashing on the lake was breathtaking.

Last stop "Xlerator". No joke we have an "Xlerator" in the park, the fastest, most efficient hand dryers around. While the spelling is different than Knott's version, they both get the job done.

9:30 P.M. - Leave park

12:15 A.M. - Arrive Home

I had a great time at Cedar Point, and realized that while a rocket coaster would be an amazing addition the CP, that anything will be great. The park has such a great collection of rides that I can easily say I will be more than thrilled to see any addition to the park. I will definatley be back for Halloweekends, no question about it.

I know for a fact that you could have gotten a stamp if you wanted one before they ran out, but not sure if you would have gotten one for the time before you guys left at 9:30. They pass out 10 percent of the ride's capacity per hour. You would have at least gotten one for 9:00-10:00.
