Rides we went on:
TTD twice
Raptor twice
WT once
Magnum twice
Gemini once
MF once
Corkscrew twice
PT twice
Interesting/Notable things:
As noted elsewhere on the site, MF's capacity has really gone down with the new seatbelt policy, dispatch times varied greatly.
The blue train had to be taken off MF at one point for some repair work (which hurt capacity even more). They got the work done and put the train back on while we were in line between the two stations. The weird part was that the motors that slide the track that connects the storage track to the station are not powerful enough or something, because the track needs to be pushed (using the handrail for the catwalk) after the motor has moved it most of the way in order to line up the track. It then has to be pushed again before the motor can move it back to rejoin the two stations. It was actually kind of funny because the one person at unload couldn't get it moved (it is pretty heavy) so me and some others in line reached over and helped pull on the railing to get it into place.
TTD was running well and the crew was doing a good job of getting the trains dispatched quickly. Even though they say TTD has the new seatbelt policy, they were not checking to the degree they do on MF either of the times I rode, they just looked real quick and pulled to see if it was fastened tight. Oh, and yes the front spoilers are gone, looks kind of weird with the holes on the nose of the train.
Heard the autospiel on PT for the first time, man is that thing annoying. Makes it very hard to here the person who tells you where you should wait.
We ate at East of Chicago for the first time. It was much better tasting and much cheaper than park food. I highly reccomend it.
Well, that's about everything, all in all it was another great day at The Point.
