Started with Magnum about 9:50 or so, walk-on. Next we hit witches wheel and moster having both of them all to our selves. Then we went on Woodstocks Express only because it was right there. Went into Frountier Town had a Mine Ride walk-on and then decided to do the Swan boats since I never have before, and I never will again. Then waited in the 20 min. line for WWL. While in Frountier Town we noticed that MS was down and took the train to the main midway and hit a 15 min. line for ID. Then watched Slam Dunk and the IMAX, which was a releif from the heat outside.
After the IMAX we hit ID again and waited about 10 min. Wildcat was down so we had to skip it. Went on Power Tower Turbo Drop which only had a 10 min. wait. Then watched the country show at the Garter, went back into frountier town and Mean Streak was still down, and Mine Ride was also down so we looked in a few gift shops then rode the train around twice and rode Gemini because we had some time to kill before meeting up with some people at 4:15. Checked into the hotel cooled off and came back to the park about 5:45.
There was a light rain when we returned to the park and Demon Drop was down, and Raptor looked to have a long line so we went over to Disaster Transport, waited 35 min. and saw noone from the DT80, but when we came out we noticed Mark working enterence and went to talk to him, he called up and told us to go up the exit because Robin wanted to talk to us. After spending about a half hour talking on the DT exit platform we left and DD was still down. We got on Skyride and as soon as we did DD went back up and we noticed Raptor's line was down significantly, so, we went back over on skyride and hit DD, with a 15 min. wait, then Raptor with a 15 min. wait. Hit Cedar Downs on our way to Magnum.
This proved to be my favorite Magnum lap so far. We sat in 1-3 and get stopped going up the lift. We sat there about 3 min. had a great ride and when exiting the 3rd tunnel noticed the next train was stopped on the lift, so we were stuck in the brakes for about 10 min. while a worker walked up the stairs to the train stopped on the lift.
after the great Magnum lap, we hit monster which we were on for 20 min. I'll never again go on monster with a line. Hit Gemini and finally after all day of being down we did Mean Streak, it's up to its old squeeking again. Got on WWL which was a walk-on then had a walk-on on Mine Ride, which was only running one train. Hit Power Tower turbo drop once more, then took the skyride to the front and rode Raptor in 8-1.
It was an extremely hot day but the lines wern't to bad, our longest line was 35 min. for Disaster Transport, although from talking to Robin we learned of two young girls who beat our 30 rides on DT, with a 39. Although noone on the crew liked these two girls so I guess it counts for something that we were much more liked than them. Also, noticed that the DT was improved with the lights on the box painting rooms and all the light bulbs replaced on the lift also some new props were added since the DT80 and Robin verified this so its not just something I thought I saw. But all-in-all a great day, and a very memorable Magnum ride, although Maggie never fails to amaze me. I was asked quite a few times to go on MF and refused. I was also called phyco for wearing pants and all black on such a hot day but it was funny to hear peoples comments on that. Didn't go on Mantis or Corkscrew because of fresh ear peircings I didn't want to hit on the OTSR's. But it was a great day and I'm glad I went.

This is REALLY beggining to bug me ever since the whole Titan incident. Even my ex-wife (who is one of thos epeopel who watches the weekly news shows for the 'scare of the week', you know.. the latest thing that is unsafe and needs the federal governments help to prevent and save you from) is now complaining about me taking my daughter to CP and riding things like MF and Chaos.
Rides stop for a reason people... please don't spread the false information. Words are a powerfull thing and the mental image between "stopped" and "stuck" can be a VERY powerfull thing in the mind of the uneducated...
On a side note.. CP Irvine and finally got into the park at abotu 6:30 (long story) and met up with Wildcatadam outside the Garter... 1-Gemini 2-MF 1-Magnum 2-Raptor's 1-ID and a Sky Ride.. heheh not bad for only being in the park for about 4 1/2 hours.. hehehehe (thanks Adam)
