8/29/01, Raptor and MagnumMania!

I will be blunt. I came at about 2ish and found MF to have a 30 minute wait. Yellow train, back seat. Fast with a nice fuzz out for the 1st overbank. Later the line up above an hour!

During this time, Raptor was a TRUE walk on. I walked up to the station and found an open seat in the so I snatched it right before dispatch time. Rode that 10 times in a row. Raptor was Kickin as usual, and I walked off very drunk! :)

Back to MF, line well past the machines. Everybody in the park was in line for MF. Time for some Vertigo action, big bang style. Pretty cool at the top, felt sort of like a flying coaster except with actual airtime. I may do it again, but I'll try something else.

Then some Magnum power riding for a total on 10 on the day, all about 1 or 2 train waits. went back to MF for a near last ride of the sunset and found the size of the line tripled from when I rode it earlier so it looked like about a 1:20 wait, but wait! The upper and DJ queue were empty. I say they did it for "cleaning purposes" ;). Line was less that 30 minutes which yielded a good 5-1 ride. Rode BS, CS, PT down. ID, Gemini as well.

COOL! I went the 29th too! I also loved how that one queue wasen't full on MF, that cut out a lot of time. I was a happy camper ! How was the wait for Vertigo? I wanted to do it but I guess I just didn't have the time...aheam oh wait ... the guts!

Vertigo was almost a fly on, I'd say 3 minutes.
