8/15/2001 Crowded!

Just got back from another great Cedar Point trip yesterday. Arrived at 10:15 and went to Magnum for 3 quick rides with a 5 minute wait. When I left I saw Raptor Jo being interviewed. I was going to yell Raptor Jo, but I didn't want to distract you from your interview

Had front row rides on Gemini, Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, and went to the Cedar Creek Mine Ride and Mean Streak. There was a guy riding Iron Dragon behind me who screamed and cried (jokingly) very loudly on the lift hills, it was hilarious and I thank him for making the ride even better!

Rode Millennium Force with about a 2 hour wait, then Raptor in 8-1 with a 45 minute wait. Then it was off to Magnum for 2 rides with a 45 minute wait.   There was an overflowed trash can in the middle of the queue which had trash in it, on it, and all over around it. I wish someone would have cleaned that up.  It was disgusting!

Although very crowded, still a great day and I thank Cedar Point for having great capacity!

lol, always gotta love the guys that jokingly scream through rides. I remember I was walking by the Mine Ride and some guys were screaming very jokingly and everyone on the midway was laughing. I think I'll have to do that on my next trip to the Point...

Okay.. yeah it was funny the first time I heard it.. har de har har.  But people, you're not being original!!!  I swear, every time I go to the park it happens once when I go on mine ride and then another time on one of the rides with a dip in its lift hill (corkscrew, magnum, etc.).  The fake-scared stupid yelling has gotten old.

It stopped being funny at around time #15.

I yell, "We're all gonna die!" on the drops of rides sometimes...is that original enough? :)

And when my brother and I went down to PKI last year, we would quote lines from metal songs we listened to on the way down on the drops of rides.

Eric-you could have waited till taping was done to say hi-plenty of people stopped and said or did something. I noticed park was packed that day too (and Tuesday too) I was very disappointed by the time my interview was over I didnt have time to ride Raptor :(
Had to head home to go to work! :(
