Me, My Mom,my friend, his brother and his Mom all boarded a bus to cp at 6 am for the 3 hour ride. We reached Sandusky at 9 and we ate breakfast at the Ponderosa. We arrived at the park at around 10 and we got into the park at 10:30. First ride was on DT, it was a fun ride and plus it was a walk-on. Next was the WT which was also a walk on, my friend and I sat in 2nd row which was cool, what a ride!! My Mom hated it though. Next was the Corkscrew which I found to be much more exciting than last year the first drop was faster it seemed. We were going to go on Magnum but it was broken so instead we went onto Gemini blue train we won..it was a good ride. Then we were off to Mean Streak which I found to be a very very boring ride but hey it was a walk-on. Then we went on Snake River Falls twice because it was a walk-on, a fun ride overall. Then we saw that Magnum was running so we went on that. It was my first ever ride on Maggie and I loved it! My friend and his brother wanted to go on Dragster but I didn't feel like waiting 3 hours for a 17 second thrill ride so My mother and I went onto a few other rides: Magnum,Raptor,Blue Streak,Wildcat, and Iron Dragon which were all great especially Raptor. By this time my friend and his brother were just taking off. After they got off we headed to the back of the park to see if white water landing was running and it was. Here is where the fun begins...we are in our canoe and over half way up the hill and we suddenly stop the ride op at the top of the hill gets on the phone and seems quite panicky and a female ride-op runs up the stairs and says oh my god. At this point our canoe is starting to get very nervous, 4 trucks pull up and about 8 people are below the ride having a conversation and after a 1/2 hour we get helped off the ride and we get a pass so we don't have to wait in any line (other than dragster). So we go on Millenium Force and we were on in under 2 minutes while a lady behind us had been waiting in line for 2 hours! What a ride! At this point we have about 1 hour before we have to be on the bus so we go on Gemini and I went on Magnum using my Mothers pass (she was done riding for the day). All in all it was an awesome trip with great weather and pretty short lines!
So what was wrong with WWL? Did you ask anyone that was there helping you off?
The ride-op said that the motor on the lift was jammed.
If it takes you three hours to get to Cedar Point, you should have waited in line for TTD. But anyhow, sounds like you guys had fun?
Yeah I came all the way from stinkin' Florida and I waited 3 1/2 hours for Dragster. It really doesn't seem like your in line that long, but once you get off the ride and check your watch, you realise how long you actually waited. So yeah, you should of gave it a shot.
