8-20 Maverick ERT

So who's going to the ERT tomorrow in the pouring rain? And are there any contingencey plans in case Maverick gets rained out?

If it gets rained out, they'll likely reschedule it.

^Yes!!, with a big CP trip coming soon, PLEASE let this get rained out and by the graces of the angels above allow for the re-scheduled date to be when I'm coincidentally there!!

I don't get how the weathermen can be so wrong, yet still keep their jobs. Not that I'm complaining about the weather. Only 5 minutes of rain Thursday and I happened to be inside. Although I think all the predicted rain fell during that 5 minutes. It was coming down in buckets.

All in all a great day at Cedar Point! I even managed 5 rides on Maverick during ERT.

Sit through one college-level class on atmospheric dynamics and you'll wonder how we even know what will happen 10 minutes from now.

Sorry to hear that. :( My mom thinks he can. She is addicted to his and any weather reports. In her case she is trying to avoid the tornadoes though. lol.

Booooo. I need someone to tell me where they'll be. It'll save me that whole pesky forecasting portion of chase days, which is kind of annoying.
