7/6 down?

Does anyone know what is wrong with MF this year? On Cp's website it say millennium force wil not be open today. What happened?

The lift motor broke. Again.

How long did it take last time to fix this problem? Did it just go down today?

So when a coaster is voted No. 1 it feels inspired to work.

You can take the coaster out of Intamin

but you can't take Intamin out of the coaster.

MF is down again... Lift motor was definitely missing (and they didn't bother to even put the cover back on to make it look 'neat' - it was just thrown wherever convenient)

But for those of you who are lazy....
MF broke down on the 4th of July (around 9:15pm)
It was closed on the 5th
Now it's closed on the 6th.
Most people think the motor is the thing that is wrong, which it probably is, but I havn't seen any conformation of this.

The last time it was broken it took (correct me if I'm wrong) around 3weeks for it to get back up and running.

I really wish CP would do a better job in letting you know which rides are working or not (for those who don't want to boot up a computer) before you actually get to the entrances. They new it was going to be closed today (the 6th) but I didn't see anthing saying it wasn't until 7:30am.

So your saying on my CP trip July 7th , 8th , and 9th MF will be broken still.

I'm sorry to say that what you posted is probably pretty accurate.

I had it worst man.
I almost bought a season pass on the night of the 4th. When we got into Ohio. Just to ride MF a few times cause we were watching it on the side of the rode. Didn't. Skipped the fireworks, went to be early so I could get closer to CP.
What do ya know.. lol
Get to the MF gate on the 5th at 8:30.
Millennium Force will not be open today.

Had a dream that it opened and thought it was real.
Got up 7:30 today, drove down there.
Millennium Force will not be open today.

Maybe next year! :)

What do you suggest they do? Should they put up signs on Cleveland Road? The turnpike exits? Along the turnpike and Rt 6? Gee, then you drove all the way on the turnpike so maybe there should have been signs at your turnpike entrance.

But honestly, how many people would decide not go go to the park that day because MF wasn't open?

You drove all the way from Rochester to CP because of a dream that MF was open?

Where on Millennium Force is its lift motor located? It's located at the bottom of the hill right?

Actually, its almost directly under the apex.

And before anyone even asks the question, the apex is the highest point of the lift hill.

I am going to Cedar Point Sunday July 9th. I just called Cedar Point park operations and they said that they hoped to have it running by then. So I am thinking the 3-week theory is wrong.
