70 A new record!

Dan,I have to agree with telling people to really think about what they are doing. Marathoning DOES take alot out of ya! No matter what ride it is! I've done alot of it at various parks.
Batman at SFStLouis-did over 2 hrs without getting off. Done alot on Sisters at SFKK(ouch), Thunder Run, 43 on Mantis a few years back, and of course ,my personal best: 93 in one day on CHANG! Talk about doing something crazy!! I've always wondered if anyone else has been crazy enough to marathon a B&M standup? You have to have your legs in great shape! The longest session that day on Chang was nearly 3 hrs without getting off. I was surprised I could still walk after all that! My legs were bothering me for a good week afterwards! NEVER AGAIN!
After so many hours, your body wants to give up! People don't realize what kind of shape you have to be in for something like this.Even Gemini will do it. Besides the ride itself, the walking around and up&down the stairs are murder after awhile! Wereyou pulling yourself up the steps at the end of Monday? LOL

Jerry is so right on this one, it really is a physical challenge. I mean after 25 rides I was starting to feel weak, at one point after my 60th lap sometime I couldn't feel my lips it felt like my body was trying to shut down. I don't reccomend marathons to anyone, jerry is right you have to be in shape to do it!

From the Ohio Revised Code, Section 1711.551 (Care of UCSigep)
-This includes riders behaving in an unruly fashion or who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or other chemical intoxicants . A violation of this law is a misdemeanor

While on his last hour Dan Said-
I was talking to myself and saying the dumbest things outloud. I was staggering around and I couldn't stand up straight.

Sounds like Dan was under the influence of Magnum! Coaster Drunk, I love it:).

I did not ride enough to get coaster drunk yesterday. I just had a Coasterbuzz. :)

Dan, was it easy to drive home after that? I ask because I have to be at work the next morning after G100. I have no problems with being able to do it, I'm just worried about my drive home that night.

Time to call the whaaaa-mulance. Just kidding :)
I didnt even power ride and I got whiplash BAD-not sure of my hips hurt from the drive there and back (5.5 freaking hours) or from riding. When I barrel race I have a tendency to over exert myself which was NOT smart knowing CP was the next day. 38 laps on MF Media Day killed me as did the 32 on Raptor in '99. Got to get back into CP shape....maybe next week? HMMMM
(I personally am blaming the achey neck on MS)
None the less congrats Dan-you're the man!!

Dan, all i want to know is what kind of shape your in. Do you work out or something? I did 17 laps yesterday between X-Flight, Batman and Serial Thriller at SFWOA (sorry guys it was media day) and my body has a dull ache all over it. Especially my legs. Granted you are 9 years younger than me but I doubt I could even handle 20 laps on Magnum. I guess I need to start exercising. I was thinking about the Gemini 100 but I know better now.
I don't exercise and I don't work out, I am about 5'10, 5'11 and weigh 185.
