just got back from a whirlwind one and a half day trip..got in at 2 am Tuesday, got a room at Comfort Inn, got to CP at 9:15 Tuesday morning. My buddy Louie accompanied me. went right for MF. Louie's first visit ever, first CP coaster ever. get off of MF and he says "if we do nothing else, this trip was WORTH IT!! i am SO coming back here!!" did Mean Streak(Trims all the way, really squealing loudly), the 'Screw, Raptor, Maggy..then we met up with HOOPER!! what a night that was!!
First, the one train operation caused us to bail out of the MF line after 30 minutes. did Mantis, Mine Ride (thanks Hooper!!), Gemini (thanks again, Hooper!! HEE HEE!!) and Maggy ejector seat. we had the "Cigarette incident" on Maggy.. Hooper and i were riding ejector seat with Louie in front of us on the right, no one with him. at the end of the ride(which was GREAT), the guys in the front seat turn around and say "do you guys have a pack of Newports back there?" we look down, and lo and behold, WE DO!! turns out, these guys' Newports had flown up out of their pocket and landed in our seat on the floor. neither Hooper or i saw it. But Louie DID see it...he said it happened on the bunny hop right before the last tunnel. Hooper says "I wonder if its on the picture..let's look." AND IT WAS!! the two guys were there, with this pack of smokes just FLOATING IN THE AIR NEXT TO THEM!! Hooper bought the picture it was so funny. Louie said the pack really did hang there for a few seconds then they just flew away back towards us. AIRTIME DEFINED!! if someone had been sitting next to him, they would have been smacked in the face by them....
anyhoo, we got back in line for MF, waited two hours, two trains got running while in line, rode at 11PM. AWESOME RIDE!! great time, Hooper!! can't wait to get back!! Dark Time Now says hi!! he's waiting to see the Magnum picture!!
Went to MF at 9 AM today. Loiue RAN to it. we were the third train out. did two laps by noon, left at 1PM. had to leave, hated to do it. it was great to witness the birth of another rabid CP fan....
and Hooper, Louie says you're really intense!! and that's high praise!!

Tell louie thanks, (that was with half a voice also) and glad I could be of service on Gemini and Mine Ride. ;) I still have not scanned that magnum newport picture yet. I will do it soon and send it to you and heck maybe jeff. If we are real lucky jeff might just post it somewhere on this sight. That would be sweet.
