After checking the weather constantly yesterday and into the early morning, I was just praying to God to get the rain away. My group left Indiana about 5:00 AM our time, since are dumb representatives won't pass Daylight Savings Time, and arrived in Sandusky about 9:30 AM Ohio time. When we arrived, there were light sprinkles that left within five minutes of being there and never returned.

We first headed off too Millennium, where we found a fifteen minute wait. Although, it turned out to be twenty-five because we waited for them to add the third train onto the track. This was my first ride on Millennium after riding Dragster, and I must admit as much as I like Millennium, I was quickly bored after the first drop. It actually seemed too long and drawn out for me this time.

Next we started to wait about twenty minutes for Mantis but noticed that Dragster was now running with people aboard. We hopped out of line and tried to get to Dragster before a long line developed. It was around 11:20 AM. When we arrived the sign said an hour and a half, but we were approaching the ramp at about forty-five minutes into our wait. They were running six-train operation. Well about this time it went down due to mechinical problems. From what I saw, it looked like it might have been something with the computer and the brakes because they were not staying down while the trains would advance. It was down for approximately forty to fifty minutes. We did not wait too long after it reopened. The ride ops were slowly getting warmed up. Awesome second ride! Millennium looks depressingly small from the top of that thing!

After Dragster, we headed to Magnum for a one-train wait for the ejector seat. It was a good ride, but it was cold! The wind off the lake really gave you goosebumps! It was still a nice ride though.

We then went to Gemini, but it had a wait, so we skipped it. As we continued down into Frontier Town, we stopped and grabbed a bite to eat, but soon were off to the front of the park to hit Raptor and Wicked Twister.

My mother does not like heights or coasters, but wanted to try Raptor. She didn't like the idea of going upside-down, but she really wanted to try it. (She had only been on Magnum at CP before, and she was tricked into that one at night.) We walked right up to the platform and waited one train. My mom loved it! She is thinking about moving up to Millennium next visit, or possibly Dragster since a friend who hates heights told her that it was better to ride because it is so fast that when you have time to think about it, it is over.

After Raptor, we hit Wicked Twister where we would have only waited about three trains if we didn't wait for back. We went ahead and waited for back which added about 5 minutes to our wait. That launch seems so tamed!

We had a friend with us that had never ridden a stand-up before, so Mantis was our next stop. We waited forty-five minutes. It was a lot smoother than I remembered it. I thought it gave a nicer ride than last year!

Now, at about 4:30, we headed back to Dragster to find the sign saying a two-hour wait. We hopped in line wanting to end our day with the best. We were on the platform in about an hour and fifteen minutes. Although back to five-train operation, the ride ops were pumping them through! The launch sled returned, and then quickly launched. They quickly moved the two new trains into the launch area too. The first train of the two launched almost instantly when it was shifted forward. We waited an extra twenty minutes for front, and let me tell you, front seat is a totally different ride! Dragster is no doubt the best steel rollercoaster! I encourage everyone to take the time to try front seat sometime. You will not be dissappointed. You do not realize how fast 120mph really is until the wind blows into your face. I do not know how on earth this ride would ever be topped. Cedar Point has built another masterpiece!

We ended there for the day. Although cold and breezy, it was a very good day. Cedar Point always amazes me. Thanks CP!

HEY, I was there that day. That 45 min wait at TTD was disappointing but we decided to wait it out. It was the coolest thing when the said to board the train and everyone began to cheer and clap!! I never seen so much excitment. We waited on the boarding dock the whole time...we wer to be the nex people to board when it shut down. I sat through most of the downtime, BRRR... That wint was freezing cold, but a bad day means short lines.
