6/3 new magnum record
Tha Magnum boys were at it again, today Jerry and I knocked out 72 laps on Magnum, with Natelie getting 52 laps for the day! The weather was pefect the crowds were a little heavy but all in all it was another great day and I am more than ready for the Gemini 100. On this date during the '99 season I was at 223 laps so I am a little ahead of my pace.
I saw several GTTPers out today as well, Joe E., Pete, and a few others.
Another funny thing is that my 12th lap of the day was my 1500th, I bought the pic even though I was kinda cut out. The funny thing was I notcied against the wall between the printers they had a pic of me riding the first day I hit 70! It was pretty funny to see.

Great Job Dan, You really are the Man. Any idea as to when you are gonna go for the big 100 on Magnum ????

Not counting the Gemini 100 there is no way you can plan a day for 100 in adanvce, there are so many factors that have to be perfect for a big marathon, the crowds, the weather, and the ride all have to cooperate to make it possible.

I feel so weak. You guys had almost as many laps on Magnum today as I had this entire year (80), and I thought I was doing well! Just think next Sunday you will have an extra 2 hours. A Magnum 100 followed by a Gemini 100? ;)

I started on Magnum for 3 laps and got to ride with celebrity's (sorry Jerry, I did not know you were the one and only Magnum Candy Man). Then moved on to a better ride in Gemini, and continued around the lagoon hitting Mine Ride, Millennium Force, and Dorkscrew before ending up back on Magnum for 5 more laps. Not bad for 2+ hours :).

Wow. You guys REALLY make me feel weak. Dan, I am proud of my 20 rides on Magnum in 2 years! Great job breaking your own records! And Joe, I was happy to ride Millennium Force, Gemini, and Magnum in 2 hours!

I set a new record on Magnum this Coastermania! 11 rides in one day. Of course 10 of thoses were in the night ERT but hey who cares! I am so proud of myself, but I don't think I can compare to Dan just yet. The next day I rode Villain 5 times beating my old record of 4 times in one day! I am a record breaking machine.

Congrats Dan! It is a great accomplishment that I could only hope to achieve some day...perhaps not on Magnum, but one of those other coasters in the park. Woodstock's Express perhaps ;-)
Congrats Dan!...nice meeting you at Coastermania. Sorry about being in you seat. ;) 17 in a day on Magnum along with 30 rides on all the other coasters aint that bad for me!
