Our annual amusement park trip is a big deal to me. Its one of the few times a year I get to go to a major amusement park. This year, we got to go to Cedar Point!(Which is my favorite park btw.)

We arrived at the park at 9:30 a.m. on the dot! Payed our (cough)ridiculous(cough) $9 for parking, and headed up to the main gate. After giving them our tickets, we took our family photo, and I dashed to the only coaster I'd yet to ride at CP...

Top Thrill Dragster - Ok, last year we also went to CP, with the sole purpose of riding TTD. And as soon as I got within 3 feet of the entrance, I heard the loudspeaker come on and say "Top Thrill Dragster is currently closed for mechanical reasons." And after that it never opened the rest of the day.
This year...was different! I walked up to the entrance...and it stayed open! It actually ran surprisingly good except for 1 part in the afternoon when it was closed for about and hour. So me and my friend who was with me waited only 30 minutes...and soon I found myself standing at the gates that led me into the loading platform...
This ride is everything I expected and more! The speed is incredible, and it just keeps getting faster and faster! At the top, MF looks...little! This ride is absolutley amazing! And short, which is the only bad part. I got to ride this one other time in the day.

Mantis - This is a really intense ride, I had a reasonably enjoyable time on it. Only waited about 20 minutes, it would of been less but someone threw up and they had to clean it up. Its not really on my favorites list, but its not the worst coaster I've been on. The seats are a tad bit to uncomfortable for me though.

maXair - Wow! This ride is awesome! Its my favorite flat at CP, the feeling this ride gives you is different from any other. My favorite part is swinging back through the structure when your facing the direction your swinging. When your at this position, you really get a feeling of speed.

For lunch we at at Johnny Rockets and had some very good food in my opinion. I got some chili-cheese fries, and an original burger. Its a fun place to eat, and my little brothers had a fun time with the miniature jukeboxes at our booth.
After lunch we went and got a freeway for MF for 2-3. And headed for the Gemini Midway.

Gemini - This is a really fun little ride. Earilier in the morning they were only running the red train, but by the time I went they were running both. The ride was a walk-on, which was a plus. I got the blue train, and we got smoked. After that, we decided to try again, and once more...walked onto the red train. This time I was racing the rest of my family, and once again...we got smoked by the stinkin' blue train! I should've learned my lesson!
I really like the amount of airtime that you get on this ride. It was really fun, and I'm glad I rode it twice.

Power Tower - Walked onto the launch side, and had a fun ride. The guy in the seat directly accross from me on the other tower said something that I didn't understand, and gave me a thumbs up. So I gave him a thumbs up back...kinda weird. Later in the day, I rode the same side 2 more times.

Millennium Force - Love it. Easily my favorite coaster at the Point. Speed, airtime, head choppers, it has it all! With the freeway I was on in 10 minutes from the time I entered the line. I rode it again later, and waited 30 minutes. The ride is so awesome!

Magnum - Love the airtime, though it is a little rough. We walked right into the station, and walked into an empty gate even though all of the rest were full. The bunny hills give you great airtime, but kinda hurt whenever you hit the positive g's at the bottom of them. Anyway, it was fun.

Wicked Twister - This ride is great, only rode it once sadly. While I was standing in line I got to see the high dive show from the que.

Disaster Transport - This ride is short and all right. Only waited for 5 minutes, which was the only reason I went on it.(Well...the airconditioning was nice too!)

Raptor - Awesome as usual, I love the barrel rolls, and the loop. Its intense, which is another great feature about this ride. Waited bettween 6-8 minutes for it, as opposed to the 45 minute wait it was earlier in the day.

Sky Ride - This ride is like...awesome whenever your feet are tired and you want to get to another end of the park. The waiting times are short too, which is why I rode it 4 times throughout the day!

Overall, it was the best out of my 3 trips to the Po!nt. The ride ops were friendly, and energetic. The park was clean, the atmosphere was great, and the weather was perfect!(Oh ya, and Dragster was Open!) Can't wait to come back, which I will!

Millennium Force - 2
Wicked Twister - 1
Magnum - 1
Power Tower - 3
Gemini - 2
Raptor - 1

Yay for the Sky Ride lovers

Ha, well I'm a lover now! I was really surprised by how fast the line went. The ride ops were awesome!

The line is never more than 10-20 minutes, even if they're only running 20 cabins.

If they're running 38 cabins (There are 39 total - but at least 1 will always sit on the rails) the line is never more than 5 minutes or so. Putting 20,000 people through there in a day was not unheard of by any means.

Even stretching down and out of the walk is no more than 10-20 minutes?

Nope. Even if its out of the 'queue' and onto the midway, it's still never more than 10-20 minutes. If that. The line moves very fast.
