6/19 A rainy day!

So its my first time going to the point this year, finally after four cancelled trips! But of course it has to rain!

So when we get there its sprinkeling, but on our drive back to the soak city lot, it clears up. We wnt to Maverick first, OF COURSE! the line was outside the turnstiles, but i figured that was becuase of the rain, which it was. The line moved pretty damn fast if you ask me, it was non-stop moving, until it broke down. It took about 45 minutes to an hour for them to fix it, then the line began moving again. Then out of nowhere it just starts raining, i mean pouring rain for like 1/2 and hour. They finally got Maverick running again and it has to rain, just my luck! Once it stops, they dried it out and got it running. Finally i was in the station getting ready to take my seat, 5th row gold train, and the clouds are looking nasty! We took our seats and pulled out of the station, waited for the first train to make the launch, and away we went! WOW! does that thing fly up that hill, I mean i have seen videos of it, but until your on it you just don't know how fast it goes up that hill! I LOVE MAVERICK! that first hill is amazing in the back car, those turns are so quick, the airtime throughout the ride is intense, the horseshoe roll its amazing, the launch is awesome, I JUST LOVE MAVERICK!

So i went to buy my picture and the guy was a total a$$ to me becuase someone behind me was doing something inaproppriate and i wanted to know what happened becuase i wanted my picture. He said its just inappropriate and i can't sell it to you. I said that i have waited 3 1/2 hours to ride this and i want to have my picture to remember my first ride and you won't sell it to me. He said well you don't wait in line to buy the pictures you wait in line to ride the ride, he said it very rudely, all i had wanted to know was what was the reason i couldn't by my picture! but he wouldn't explain what happened, and was very rude!

So i didn't get my picture and we headed over to skyhawk, as we sit in the seats and the restraints aree locked ot starts to pour, AGAIN! but we rode it in the rain, BAD IDEA! Man did that hurt! The rain didn't let up for like 3 or 4 hours! So we wnt to the shops bought some hats and shirts, then went and got food at the Dragons Inn, that was the worst food service i have ever expereineced in my life! they couldn't speak english, i said i wanted a corn dog he looked at my like i was retarded, then forgot my change, it took then 30 mins to get my friends chicken basket, and the fries were cold by then!

After we ate we went and waited for the rain to stop in Millennium Forces line, after like 45 mins of waiting outside the tunrstiles, they finally let us in after they had dried out the trains and gotten the first rides on. another 15 mins and we were on! I don't know why everyone is saying that it got rough, becuase it is just as smooth as my first ride in 2001! wee got our On-Ride pic, and i have to say that the front train pasting is retarded, but thats not going to keep me from buying my pic.

We then went back to Maverick for the second ride of the day, the turnstiles were full, but the wait was only 45 mins! It siad 1 1/4 hour wait, but they have that line moving greatly! Mavericks crew is the best crew I have yet to come across! This time we rode in the very back! Amazing airtime in the back! So i go to get my pic, and the launch tunnel pic didn't take! so we went back in line, this time the wait was 1 1/4 hour with a 1/2 break down! but we got the front this time! I have to say, that although i love airtime, i like the front better, especially on the first hill! This time we got our On-Ride pic, third time is a charm, right!

So now that i finally have my Maverick picture, we head over to Top Thrill Dragster, which was closed, bummer! but we got on Magnum in 20 mins, which was great, didn't seem jurky at all this year! Once we got off, dragster re-opened and the wait was 1 hour. So we get into the station, we are the next to ride and it breaksdown! we waited for 1 hour for it to get fixed. We were the second train to be launched, but the first train of course got the rollback! i was so mad, i wanted it, still haven't gotten one yet! But it was a great ride non-the-less, and we went over the top very slowly, of course it teases me! Got my On-Ride pic from that too.

It was a great day even though it rained! Sucks though that we don't have any pics of the park becuase we put the camera and our phones in the locker so they didn't get ruined, oh well we will be back in like 2 or 3 weeks! Can't wait!

I'm sorry about your luck, but what part of "inappropriate" is so hard to understand that you would need a more thorough explanation? They have a policy about not selling explicit on-ride photos, it's nice to see that they are enforcing it.

PS- Looks like you still had a pretty enjoyable day despite the rain.

it wasn't that i didn't understand inappropriate, it was that he would explain what exactly was inappropriate, was it me, my friend, or someone else in the picture. Becuase if it was me or my friend then i would understand, but if it was someone else couldn't they just like black it out or something. i just wasn't happy about it and he was very rude when he was saying that it was inappropriate, which didn't help the situation.
