I apologize in advance, because this trip report is going to be very long. I do not get to CP that often, so when I do it is very special. :)
It was my first trip to Cedar Point this year, and it was also the first time I would be going 2 days in a row. This time I was going with my best friend, Renee. The biggest coaster she had ever ridden was Blue Streak. I converted my sister into a coaster lover, so now it was Renee's turn. :)
We decided to sleep in a bit, and only ended up leaving St Clair Shores around 12pm. We didn't know that there was the 75 detour, passed it, and got lost. Long story short, we arrived at Cedar Point 3 hours later.
We parked in SC parking lot of course. Our first ride of the day was Gemini. Renee was really nervous. I was very excited to get back on a coaster! We rode red train, middle, and she loved it! So we rode it again.
From there we headed over to Iron Dragon. She wanted to work her way up, so we did just that. We rode back seat this time, hoping it would make the ride more thrilling. She thought it was boring, thank god.
Next was Disastor Transport. They are still using the Halloweekends entrance. I did check on the sales cart, and didn't see any 3D glasses. I did see some near Frontier Trail for Starlight Experience. So now we know where DT's 3D glasses went. ;) The ride was okay. It was completely black this time, which I like better.
By now we were both pretty hungry. So we took the Sky Ride back to our car, and ate subs that we had packed. We also stopped and asked for some free ice water. I always ask for ice water, whenever I eat fast food. If they charge me the $0.10, I don't really care. So I was expecting some sort of fee for the water, but it was free. :)
When we were done with dinner we decided to ride Gemini again. This time front seat, and they were only running the blue train. I loved it front seat. I will never ride any other seat again on Gemini. The ride was also trimless, and we got a lot of good air time. We did that twice.
Next we headed up to Raptor, taking the Sky Ride of course. It was about 6pm, and there wasn't too much of a wait. The line moved really quickly. I give props to the ride ops! They were doing a really good job. Renee was really nervous again, so we rode middle. We both loved it. We wanted to ride again, but we didn't want to wait another 1/2 hr.
I talked Renee into riding Millenium Force. I told her how my sister was terrified of riding it too, but now she loves it. The line wasn't too bad. Probably about a 45 minute wait. We rode middle, and of course she loved it. :)
We walked over to the Wave Swinger and had 3 rides. I love that ride. It is very relaxing. I think we were the oldest ones riding it though. lol
After that we headed over to Magnum. After MF, Renee felt like she could do anything. I could have taken her on TTD, but I prefer Magnum. :) We rode front seat. I hadn't done that since 2005, and I didn't like it too much that time. But this time I loved it. It was a pretty wild ride, but that's what I love about Maggie. Renee didn't like it too much. :( But she was willing to try it again tommorow.
Then we bought an elephant ear that we split, and walked through the Starlight Experience. I didn't really know what to expect, but it was amazing. You cannot even notice the lights on the trees during the day eathier. All I have to say is that Cedar Point did a great job with this! I especially love the music, and the falling foam snow.
We jumped in line for MF just before 10pm. We rode middle again, and it was a great ride.
The next morning I woke up at 9:30 am, and it was pouring. We wanted to get to the park at 10am, but we decided to sleep in. We ended up getting there around 1pm and it was beautiful outside. The park was a lot less crowded too.
We started our day with Magnum. We rode middle this time, and both loved it. So we rode it again. After 2 rides Renee was ready to head over to MF. I could have stayed at Magnum all day.
MF was closed, so we decided to ride Raptor. We rode it in the middle, and wanted to ride it again but it started raining. So they ended up closing it down.
We headed over to Blue Streak, which I had never ridden before. It was raining, and they were still running it. We rode middle, and it was a pretty fun ride. Kinda rough, with a lot of air time.
By the time we were done, it had stopped raining. MF was still down, so we rode the train to the back of the park. I wanted to jump in line for Maverick, but the line was way too long. I havn't done Maverick yet, so I don't really want to waste an hour or more for something that I am not sure I will like.
We rode the Wave Swinger a few times to cool off. Then we ate lunch in the car again.
After lunch we rode Gemini another 2 times. All in the front seat of course. :)
From there we decided to ride Magnum. Just as we were leaving the station the ride op said, "Enjoy your sprinkles." The first 2 hills wern't bad, but after that we were getting pelted. It was pretty hilarious. We were laughing the entire time.
When we got off of Magnum, it was raining pretty hard. So we decided we would walk around and see if any of the carnival rides were open. By the time we got to Super Himalaya, the rain had stopped. So we rode that, Scrambler, and the bumper cars.
We headed back up to Raptor, which by this time was running again. We rode front, and it was pretty amazing. Then they closed it, due to mechanical issues. So we took a ride on Calypso, and then headed back to Raptor to catch another ride.
After Raptor we rode Millenium Force. We wanted to ride front seat this time, so the line wait was extra long. It was worth the wait though. It is a completely different experience front seat! It was like riding MF for the first time all over again.
It was Renee's birthday. So when we got into our seats on MF, we told the ride op and he had everyone in the queue sing happy birthday to Renee.
We rode Wave Swinger another 2 times, and then split another elephant ear. We decided we wanted to ride Magnum until quarter to ten and then get in line for Maverick. That way we wouldn't be wasting time waiting in line, because the park would be closed anyway.
We rode Magnum 2 times. Both in the middle. I wanted to ride more, but Renee had a headache. She asked if we could leave at 10pm, because we had a 2 hour drive home. I was sad that we wouldn't beable to ride anything at 10pm, but I understood. So we walked through Starlight Experience one last time and headed home.
All in all it was a great trip. I cannot wait to get back! I think that I like doing CP in 2 days much better, rather than one. I also recruited Renee as another Cedar Point lover. :)

Great TR! Glad that you had a good trip. I much prefer multi-day trips over day trips. You don't feel the need to rush around, and can just take in the atmosphere of the park...
BTW.... Did you wear pajama pants to the park? If so, that's epic.
Ripcord Crew 2002 / MF Crew 2004
Yep, I wore pajamas. :) I only packed one pair of pants, and my friend packed none. We thought it was going to be cold on Wednesday, due to the rain. So I let her borrow my pants, and I wore my PJ's. I was very comfy though! lol.
I agree with you about being there for 2 days, and not having to rush. It was my best trip to Cedar Point yet. I definately think that it is because we could just take our time and relax.

Thank you for the compliments on my crew! We have been trying our hardest to keep our line moving...the heat slowed us down a bit but it wont keep us down! I am having a great season, so much fun, and I appreciate all comments (Both good and bad) about me and the crew.

Your welcome. :) You guys did an excellent job with keeping the line moving, and loading the trains! I think that the Raptor and Magnum crews were the fastest this year.

The whole not having to rush thing makes the trip so much better. That is why I really think it's worth staying on point if you can afford it, you don't have to move your car the whole time, or if it rains just go back your room, and take a break and have a snack.
A long drive home after a day at Cedar point can be brutal, I did it once all the way back to Louisville (5hrs), I thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head I was so tired, I will never make that mistake again.
