5/9/03

What a day! I decided to skip out of work early to head up to the park. No harm done in that, right? As I walking through to meet Tony, one of my students yells my name and waves like crazy. Oops. We decided we would both keep quiet about the sighting. I met up with Tony first. It was great to be able to walk onto any ride in the park. I was glad to get quite a few rides in on Magnum. Wicked Twister, Ocean Motion, Blue Streak, Power Tower were all fine. We hit Raptor while we down at that end of the park. It was running really well. We headed over to Tony's baby for a quick ride before meeting up with Dave, Matt, and Megan. ERT on Magnum was wonderful. It was flying! We then headed back over to MF. Tony was quite happy to ride the yellow train a few times. Finally we headed over to Top Thrill. I was quite nervous in line for that thing. It was absolutely worth it though! I even put my hands up for a few seconds. That ride kicks! Wonderful job, CP. We ended up leaving the park around 10:30 and crashing McDonald's. Dave, Tony, and I talked in the parking lot until about 12:00. What a riot! The night was wonderful and always it was good to be with friends at my park : ) Thanks again for a great time. May 30th???

It was great to see you again and I'm glad that you got to ride TTD and that you liked it. The best thing about the Yellow train was when they took her off the track for the night and I got to ride the Blue train for my last ride of the night. Looking forward to are next meeting.

Start being nicer to the yellow train. It really likes you, Tony. I forgot to mention the Mr. Skyward sighting as well. It threw me off when he was in a different sweatshirt. : )

The only way that I will be nice to the Yellow train is if they repaint it and I do not know that it once was the Yellow train, or all of the trains are painted Yellow. Then I would not have much of A choice.
