5/24 - 5/25: Cold/windy/no trims.

So we come up just for a typical 2 day thing like I always do every year and such. Turnpike clear, I-90/SR2 clear. Minor road work and such.

The 24th started off with us getting the new passes and such, A ride on Blue Streak started our riding. I never seen a long line for this ride. We took a seat anywhere possible. A little rough, but the cold wind got us.

Then we headed to what I call, "12-E" AKA the disaster transport. Caught the line on the stairs and asked ourselves, "Why ride?".

After hearing the little physics kiddies screaming their heads off, we went WICKED! hoping Jeff was working. Not a sight of him, but the ride was broke. It was working later.

Then, we headed to Draggin' Iron with the McDonalds colors. (joke alert) I asked a ride-op if I could order a number 3 Large with a Root Beer to Go. (/lame joke) Two train operation, line before the stairs this time. Meh, not to bad in the back.

Then, we wanted to ride Raptor, but the High Winds kept it from doing any action.
It was windy and starting to get cold.

We then went on some minor rides such as the Ocean Motion (or as the ride op says, 'whishy whashy'.) and the Ferry wheel.
Then took a pretzel break and headed for the back of the park to get some rides in.

First up was the Mean Streak. Smoother than usual, maybe it's cause it was cold. Hardly any trims except the mid-course section. This ride was, also, a 3 train wait. Line on the stairs.

After that, we went on the Gemini for it's 4 train operation and air gates. Where's the line? It did take a while for the trains to make a circuit, I just wish they had all 6 going; it seemed like it can. When we were dispatched, the girl stopped us for some odd reason? Who knows... but the good part was this: NO trims on the mid-course were active, near the end, they were active.

Soon, I, myself, took a ride on Magnum, cause I like it. No line as usual until the stairs. I took a front seat ride, solo. I heard the physics kids bickering, "ooo he's by himself, Why don't they make me go up there," etc. No trims on the mid-course, little rough in the turn-around. The picture looked like I was shot in the stomach.

Then we walked past the Dragster, down as usual. The winds were strong. So I went solo to go on the Mantis while she sat and watched. 1 hour wait! There's a LINE? Actually there was. I took a 2nd seat back ride with some hippies who were talking about being stoned again. No trims going down the first hill? I never heard them shoot and I didn't feel any forces from it. The ride was smoother now that it wasn't shot by the hill trims. The mid course- trim did shoot. My feet were hurting as I had to somewhat dip. At 6 foot 2ish, I seem I'm a little tall for this.

I met up with Megan and we went to attempt the Weather ride, (Sky ride), down as usual, on our way to Wicked Twister. We rode twice, front and back. No Jeff (correct me if I'm wrong) again. We were hoping he'd be in the control room with his countdown shenanagins.

After that, we waltzed over to the Force for our rides. 1 1/2 hour wait back to the pop machines. Not too bad for a back seat ride. I had no problem with the 1 inch rule on here.

We decided to call it a night and do the DOGEM I. We watched a blonde forget how to operate the vehicle. Hehehe. Poor megan was stuck in the middle as I toted around hitting people. We left to go eat and sleep.

May 25th, we arrived at 8:55 AM EDT and saw the gates were open. We went in and saw people with the temporary barrier gates. We thought the marching band was comming by. Then we noticed, it's for Joe Cool. So we got to go in with our JC passes.

First ride, was the Force. Walk-on, but we had to wait as the Red and Yellow trains were being "dummied ridden". Took any seat and went up in the RAIN! Yes, it started to sprinkle on us. Not too thrilled.

After that, we took the Weather Ride, which was running, to head to the Raptor. We got on front seat with a short line down the stairs. Not too bad since the rain quit for us.

Then we wanted to do Wicked Twister AGAIN! It was down, so 12-E was calling our names. What the hey, why not. It was a walk-on, and I mean walk-on. No train wait. This clicked in my mind that this was a short line day.

Wicked was back up. I took 3 rides, and she took 2. Front, back, and somewhere near the front. Jeff was present and I said hello, hello, and hello. The end of the 2nd ride in the back, I got stuck. HELLO? Me get stuck? Well, the seat belt thing was stuck and it caused a major foorah. Ha. I took a solo ride up front seat and talked to Jeff a little bit. As I was placing my glasses down, two chicks from physics classes tried to take my seats, Jeff let them know and then I let him know who I was from here (GTTP).

We hopped over to dragster, megan wasn't feeling good, so I got in line myself. 1 hour wait, 30 min of it was down time. I got aquainted with some metal heads in line and took front seat 1 hour later. Went really quick over the hill. Great times.

We strolled back to the Gemini, only 2 trains, the RED side was working today. This was a complete WALK-ON. Took front seat and tried to understand the ride-op's really fast speil. No trims again.

After that, we went on the Mean Streak. I saw Gina, but she seemed busy on the phone (j/p) This was also a walk-on. We took front seat in the Green train, mostly because the Red train had a broken lap bar. The trims on the drop were on, Damn. A little rougher this time.

She convinced me to ride the whoo-whoo Train. Yea! We saw the Force line half-way up the ramp. I jumped and went to ride it solo. Took a seat at 2-4. Saw the guy in a purple shirt yelling at people again.

After that, we left. It was early, but we needed to get home and finish stuff. Mostly because of threats for bad storms n'such.

My next scheduled trip: Mid-June. Then Late July with the people from a forum.

That dude you're talking about was there that day, I remember him comming out and I am not sure, but his name was Jeff. He came out on rotation to do seat checks and someone else went in. He always does the 3..2..'launch'..1 count and makes wise remarks.

I went on the 24th also. I had no lines for any ride. I got the 5th ride on Dragster. (If you saw it, then you saw my bro crying on it!) Great day.
