Conditions were rainy and a bit chilly (around 55 most of the day). Crowds were pretty light, and lines were generally short but slow moving because all the rides were running one train for most of the day due to the rain. Later in the day when the rain cleared out and the school groups left, it was really nice. Millennium Force and Raptor were walk-ons. Top Thrill was down most of the day due to the rain, and when the rain cleared up later it rolled back a few times and never seemed to have any significant uptime.

Weather was sunny and a lot nicer than Tuesday, and the moderately heavier crowds were a sign of that. Still, most lines were fairly short (Maverick seems to always be the exception). Wicked Twister was a walk-on in the morning when I rode it. Top Thrill seemed to be having a lot of trouble throughout the day. I personally saw at least 2 rollbacks, one of which happened when I was in line. They fixed it and I ended up waiting about an hour and a half before I got a chance to ride it once. When I left the park about 3 it looked to be down again. They were loading mostly the front half of the train in an attempt to prevent the rollbacks but it didn't seem to be helping much. Is this normal for TTD? Or are the trains just needing to be broken in since I assume they were rebuilt over the off-season?
Overall, good days to visit. Pretty light crowds, and the crews seemed to be really into moving the lines and packing the trains full to get as good of capacity as possible. Is there some kind of competition capacity?
We are headed out later today and staying at the campground through Sunday. I'll be processing platinum passes, then going into the park around 4 or 5 today. Friday I hope to ride all day, and Sat looks bad for weather, but we'll still try. Sunday we'll pack up the 5th wheel, go to the departure lot, and ride until late afternoon.
A lot of riding, I hope, on days when crowds will be light. I avoid the park in June/July, so this is our big trip to get some serious ride times in. I hope to challenge SRB's millenium record, if all the stars align!
I don't know if it was just me, but on Wednesday (5/19) it seemed like Millennium did not have nearly as much airtime as it has when I have been there in the past. I rode it at 2 different times of day in 2 different seats in 2 different parts of the train. I remember reading that it runs faster when it is warmer, and it has been in the upper 80s or 90s when I have been there before, so maybe that has something to do with it. I saw SRB on Wednesday, so I wouldn't be surprised if you see him there too.
Four discount funday tickets to Cedar Point: $130.96
Overnight stay at Breakers Express: $70
Riding rides the size of skyscrapers while "legally" breaking the local speed limit: Priceless

I felt the same way during my visit. I barely got any air on the two hills and the train seemed to be a bit sluggish over them. Perhaps it's since the trains were rebuilt in the off-season (I'm assuming) and haven't been broken in yet with a combination of the lower temperatures?
