i got airtime on the third hill each time i rode it. our first lap was in 5-1 and i even got airtime ther!! our second lap was in car 4, at night, major airtime. but our THIRD lap was 2-1 and BOY OH BOY!! BIG, MAJOR, FLOATING airtime!! our fourth lap was in car 4 again and i still felt it. the front does sem to be better on the airtime, but i felt it everywhere we rode. i plan on trying to ride the back next week, just to compare...

can't believe they cancelled the Simpsons after all these years...now look sad and say D'OH!!
Personally, I liked the back of the train better. I don't know why a lot of you haven't had air in the back, but we had a ton. We had more air in the back than the front. When we hit the first drop, we were whipped out of our seats as we were cresting it! Then, on the 3rd hill, we didn't get airtime until we started to go over it, then we floated all the way down the 3rd hill, same with the other hills. Front seat = air as you ascend the hills, back seat = air as you descend the hilles. I guess what seat you like depends on the air you like.
My first 2 rides were in 1-2 (lucky me) and I loved the floater airtime on the lagoon hills.
The first time I rode MF, I sat in the very back seat. The ride had only been running for about 1 hour and I got very little air-time. I was actually a little disappointed in the ride because I usually prefer the back seat on big coasters. But then near the end of the day, I rode twice in the 3rd seat and was blown away! The ride felt much faster and there was tons of air-time on the 3rd hill, the return hill, and the bunny hop. I think it also helped that I got the initial ride in and was more ‘relaxed’ for the other rides.
Whats the drop angle on the 3rd hill? I was just wondering if it was close to Magnums 1st hill.
3rd hill is about 45 degrees
Exactly 45 or close? I need it to the degree! Thanx
I thought it was closer to 60 degrees, but maybe I'm wrong...
From the pics I've seen, it looks like 45

Looking at a side view construction pic on the official site, I made an angle with the drop and the right side of my mouse arrow, which is 45 degrees, the angle was acute, making the drop about 47-50 degrees.
