So why havnet i been called for an interview yet?? Does anybody know why?? And I only see the times for the only 1 manager for phone interviews. So am I suppose to call her or should I wait for her to call me??

If it says they are available for those hours call them. They don't have time to just sit at phone and call everyone. It's easier for you to call them.

You could call Human Resources and ask to be directed to one of them.

they do get more than just a few applications to review, have patience. Hiring is a lot of work.

Quote of the decade! Most people have no idea how much work goes into hiring that many folks. CP's HR department is probably busiest from Dec-June...when the park is mostly closed.

I guess you've never worked in HR, Ben. Hiring is just one of the things HR is responsible for.

While the HR people finalize the contracts, a good percentage of the hiring is done by department area managers hiring for the spots they are responsible for. They are still taking care of the rehires first. That could take a couple weeks. Then they will go to people who have been refered by other employees (good chance they will show up), then it's to the newbies.

Hiring at CP gets crazy when you have to ask the same interview questions for 4 months straight. And since about half of the newbies don't even show up, it sucks. I got to do it for a month, I hated it til the season started. Then I got to meet many of the people I hired. And to watch them succeed was a great feeling.

Ha, they won't hire me......again. And all I did was leave(quit) before the end of my contract.

That isn't always true my friend. It may seem that way to you. But They turn down lots of people. Either for lack of work history, crimes, or overall interview.

The first problem is most people refuse to work in foods. Since Foods hires about half the entire CP family, that causes issues. What most don't realize is the quickest way to get a raise is foods, you can get one in 4 weeks if you really try. Plus then, once they know you have a great personality, you might be able to get one of serving positions. Which is the highest paying position in the park. But they just don't give those to anyone.

I hope that wasn't pointed at me! People do have reasons to leave. If I only was there for a couple months, it's easy not to quit. But when your contract is March to November, things do happen.

About the rest of your remarks. Yes it's true some people slack off, most do get removed pretty quick.
