more profit allows them to make the park better.
Not necessarily. In fact, a company can show profit margin increases by doing the exact opposite of improving their product. This is why I am deeply skeptical of their recent moves, like the decimation of live entertainment, since that can show "improvement" in the short term but can ultimately harm the bottom line.

Interesting to me as a lawyer, but it's a fairly dry Ohio Public Records Act analysis that didn't get too much coverage.
Interesting, I didn't see that (and admittedly wasn't paying close attention). I love media law, and I've filled FOIA requests, so it's interesting to me. I didn't realize this covered the assault as well.
But the court did appear to apply the provisions around disclosure, rejecting the bits about trying to see accident stuff from the EMS.

I can't argue with the Register not getting past the velvet rope either; there is a difference between not being deferential to a large entity in town & actively hounding it. Nitpicking over the minutia of the TTD injury wasn't anything anybody needed or asked for, it was an ego trip by an editor who considers himself a big fish in a small pond and is just one good scandal away from a more prestigious post.
Still, you hope the relationship can be improved; community connections are beneficial to everyone.

I am disappointed Frontier Festival won’t be a thing this year. Although, it certainly has gone WAY downhill in my opinion since the days when it was Brew and BBQ.
I’ve got my eyes on that TT2 themed beer and rotating food options. As for the beer, anyone know what kind it might be? A friend of mine suggested a “HOP THRILL IPA” and I think that would be a fantastic idea.
^I'm almost more interested in who is brewing it, than the style to be honest. I think they used to always be collabs with Brew Kettle, right? But these days as there's more choices up there, I wonder if it's possible that CLAG or Saucy get in the mix. CLAG might not have the capacity now that I think about it.
I like junky food, and a glazed donut smash burger is delicious to me. I don’t know about this thing though- reminds me of a freak shake, or a giant Bloody Mary, only like a sammich. Equally impossible to eat.
If Noah Cappe ever retires I’m going for that Carnival Eats gig. I can’t think of a more perfect job.
